Review: Heartbreaker

Title: Heartbreaker
Author: Logan Chance

(May contain Spoilers)

Synopsis:
They call me a heartbreaker.

I’ve constructed the exact type of life I want for myself--isolated from feelings, and numb to the world around me.

Running from my own fears.
Pretending I own the world.

I get paid to be an a$$hole. Easiest money I’ve ever made.
Until I get paid to be one to her.

She’s the one person who digs beneath the layers to see the truth hiding there.
Being paid to break her heart may be the hardest job I’ve ever done.

Why’d she have to be so pretty? Why do I need her so bad?
Why can’t I just let her go?

They call me a heartbreaker, but little do they know my heart is the one that lies bleeding.

Review:
This story follows Booker, who comes back to Ferndale, his home town. He is here just to sell his family's old house, which is full of unwanted memories.
The first day there he meets a girl, named Cat. And when a job falls into his lap, and he sees Cat's face in the photos, he immediately decides to take it. But, something is different, she is different. Booker ends up getting close to her, when she takes up the job doing landscaping at Booker's house.
Can Booker really do his job, and break Cat's heart for another guy to swoop in and play hero?
I give this book 4 ⭐ out of 5⭐. I really liked & enjoyed Booker and Cat's story. If you are looking for a quick, steamy, romance, then pick up Heartbreaker today!

I received this ARC for an honest review.
