About Zero F*cks

Title: Zero F*cks, Violent Circle Book 4
Series: Violent Circle
Author: S.M. Shade
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Publication Date: February 27th, 2019

Synopsis

Mr. Rogers did not prepare me for the people in my neighborhood. A cut in financial aid for college and a lot of bad luck have landed me not only on Violent Circle, but in the apartment known as Frat Hell.

I can handle myself, so living with three guys isn’t a problem. Even the madhouse disguised as a low income neighborhood isn’t an issue. The trouble is Denton, the man with the mischievous grin in the room across from mine.

I can resist the lean, muscled body. I’m stronger than the quick smile and adorable dimple. But his kindness, that may be the straw that breaks the vagina’s crack.

I just need to keep my head down and my legs together while I focus on making my dream of owning my own tattoo shop a reality.

*This is book four in a series, but can be read as a standalone novel. Book one is Scarlet Toys, which is Free.

A cut in Becca's financial aid, has her answering an ad for an available room. Only problem is, it's Frat Hell on Violent Circle. Becca isn't left with any other options besides homelessness so she moves in- but wasn't expecting the crazy that comes with living on Violent Circle. Or the people. Including her new roommate Denton. But despite how much she is attracted to his humor, and charm. She can't go there. She won't. If things go south, they are stuck living together without any other options. It shouldn't be too hard, right?
Of course I absolutely loved the Violent Circle series, and this one was no different. It was funny, and from the moment I picked it up I couldn't put it down. If you love humor, insane neighbors, and crazy antics then this books and series is for you!! 4⭐ out of 5⭐

Blurb Reveal: Savior

Savior Blurb & Teaser Reveal
Release Date: March 28, 2019

Blurb
He bought me, but not to touch or taste. He bought me to save me, and to atone for past sins.
Handsome and mysterious, he swoops in to offer me a new life, but this is no knight in shining armor. He’s cold, hardened by his past. But there’s an inferno underneath the ice, I can feel the heat each time he looks at me—each time he gives in to the desire between us.
No matter how much I push to unleash the fire in his eyes, he shoves back harder each time. He’s merciless with his cruel words, telling me how naive I am, how little I know of the world.
But I’m stronger than he thinks.
When we face down our demons from the past, I’ll prove which one of us was in need of saving, and which one of us is the savior.

Review: Love Lost Her Way

Title: Love Lost Her Way
Author: Julie Anne Addicott
Release Date: Feb 22

Blurb:

LOVE LOST HER WAY
A tragic story about a girl who lost all hope.

From the outside, my life was picture perfect. On the inside, something sinister lurked.
I thought he was sick. I thought I could fix him.
All I wanted was for him to love me.

I was used and abused. Sold to the highest bidder.
Unloved. Unseen. Unheard.

Until Declan.
He was my saviour. He helped me believe in the power of unconditional love.
Then, he was gone.

When love is lost, and there’s no hope left, how do you go on?

**This is not a romance novel, nor is it a sweet story about love. It is a tragedy and includes themes that may be triggering to some readers. Love Lost Her Way is recommended for ages 18 and over.**

Review:

Although this book does have some romance in it, this is not a romance novel. It follows Carlie, a girl who was abused, in more ways then one, lose all hope. Until she met Declan. He shined hope and light into her life. He helped show her the power of love- not just what she grew up believing was love- he saved her. And then, he was gone. How does Carlie go on when there is no hope left and love is lost?
This book was raw, emotional, powerful, and heartbreaking. It took me days to read it, because of how much emotion it pulled from me in it's grip. It was such a beautiful written tragic tale of a girl who grew up with so much abuse- physical, sexual. It was hard to read at some points, because I related to Carlie and some of the things she had been through. Glad I continued reading - to find out how Carlie's story ended. How she went from such tragedy, to who she was at the end. Even though the story was raw & heartbreaking it was still written beautifully. And this will be a story that stays with me for a long time, burried deep in the marrows of my bones. 4.5 tear stained ⭐s out of 5⭐.
Warning: this book is recommended for 18 yrs old & up. There is some subjects that may be triggering to read. This isn't a romance novel, but rather a tragedy that contains romance.

Blog Tour: Text Me Baby One More Time

TEXT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME
Author: Teagan Hunter
Series: Texting #4
Release Date: February 11, 2019

About the book

I love you, he said.
Forever, he said.
Turns out, he lied.

When he leaves me high and dry after a cross-country move, I push him out of my life as much as I can, which is hard to do when the guy who broke your heart also happens to be the most famous dude in town.

After a disastrous year, he’s aiming to rehab his reputation, and I just so happen to be aiming for a promotion at the paper.

So, we strike a deal, and it’s a win-win all around.

Besides, what’s the harm in a few dates to charity galas anyway?

He’s arrogant, a total jerk. There’s no way I’ll fall for him…again.

I used to love him. Now I hate him…I think.

EXCERPT

Cinnamon. He smells like cinnamon. I fucking love cinnamon.

“It’s my gum,” he says, and I realize I’ve said it out loud.

Shit.

I don’t realize he’s reached out to me until his fingertips graze softly over my exposed hip, the touch causing me to jump.

“Does it hurt?”

“Huh?”

“The bruise—does it hurt? I saw you hit your hip on the corner of your desk when you attacked me.”

I glance down at where his fingers are resting against my skin, and for the first time, I notice there’s a purple mark forming.

He’s right, I did hit my hip, but I was so caught up in the moment that I didn’t care. Then during the hour-long car ride here, I was so focused on trying not to stare at him in his insanely hot baseball cap that I stared at my phone the whole time and forgot my hip was throbbing.

“I forgot about it. I didn’t realize it was starting to bruise.”

“You’ll have to save this dress for one of our later events so it can heal.”

I find his gaze again and turn my face toward his. He’s no longer staring at my hip. His swirling green and brown eyes are locked onto my own.

“You look beautiful, Denver.”

There’s something in the way he says it, something that grabs at my heart and tugs on the strings. I don’t know if it’s the way he uses my full name—something he hardly ever does—or if it’s the fire in his eyes that’s sending his words straight into my chest.

“I…”

My lips are his sole focus now.

I could recite the phone book for him and I don’t think he’d ever look away.

Worse? I don’t think I’d want him to.

“How’d you know?”

“What?”

“How’d you know this dress was going to be the one?”

With reluctance, he draws his eyes up to mine.

“If you think for a second that while you spent the last five years hating me, I’ve been blind to your body…” His hand trails down my hip, dipping way too close to my ass.

God do I hate that I want him to keep going.

“To these curves…” He moves his touch upward, his fingertips teasing me at the base of my back. “To your sheer fucking beauty…”

Light, feathery touches dance up my spine. Goose bumps break out along my skin, though I don’t think he notices.

I don’t realize he’s inched me closer to him with each dance of anticipation along my body until I feel his arousal pressed against my thigh.

His fingers curl around my neck, the touch hard and soft and everything I never knew I wanted, particularly from him.

“I’m not blind, especially when it comes to you, Bucky.”

I watch as his mouth descends toward mine, and I do nothing to stop him.

“Oh, miss! That one is stunning ! The young man has a good eye. He—”

The saleswoman pops up out of nowhere just before our mouths make contact.

Thank god.

“Oh my, I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt, Mr. Clark. I-I—”

Shep pulls away, unwinding his arm from around my back, and I miss his warmth more than I’ve ever missed anything in my entire life.

I take three healthy steps away from him, smoothing down the front of my unwrinkled dress, and try to get my breathing back to normal, refusing to look over at him for fear I’ll try to climb my way back into his arms.

Treacherous body.

Review:

I absolutely love Teagan's texting books. They are funny, swoony, and nerdy. I love being able to geek out with and about the characters, and this book was no different. They called each other Captian America (or Cap for short) & Bucky. They were friends who wanted so much more. Texting buddies who lived thousands of miles apart. They said forever, and she moved across the country for him. Turns out, their forever was a lie. He is arrogant, and a total jerk, but now, they want to strike a deal with each other. She wants the inside scoop for the paper, he needs a few dates to some galas- it's a win-win right? There is no way she would fall for him again, not a chance. She used to love him, but now she hates him... She thinks.
I love all the Cap & Bucky references! I love how the breakup didn't break either character (& had them wallowing), and loved how the Heroine made the Hero own up to everything. I loved the texting in the book. The book was funny, but was so much more- there was emotion behind the humor. It made me swoon, it made me feel, and made me laugh.
If you are looking for a great second chance romance, this is it! I have been wanting this book for months, and I am sad that it is over. Sad that the series is now complete. But loved it beginning to the end. The end of the line. 5 Captian America ⭐'s out of 5⭐.
