Review: Vault

Title: Vault

Series: Madison Kate

Author: Tate James

Release Date: October 31, 2021

Vault is a Madison Kate Novella but is intended to be read after the Hades series as several events overlap and this story DOES contain multiple spoilers for the Hades series.

Please consult the recommended reading order for Shadow Grove World on my website if you are uncertain what order to read the books in.
This novella is set on a timeline parallel to the events of Club 22 and Timber.

Once again. This story WILL spoil the Hades series for you if you haven’t read or finished it prior to picking this up.

You’ve been warned.

Oh my god!

Vault is a novella from the Madison Kate series, that ties into the Hades series - & will give spoilers away so you MUST read both series first before grabbing Vault.

I honestly loved it! I loved seeing the Madison Kate characters again, & their side of things on what happened that day, & afterwards. I loved their relationship with each other, getting some back story with some, and what they did during their vacation. I don't want to give anything away, but if you love the Madison Kate series then you definitely need to pick up this book (after you read the Hades series of course)!! It may be short, and some of it may be sweet while some may be down right dirty, it's perfect to wrap up the Madison Kate series & give these characters some closure. 5⭐ out of 5⭐.

Review: Kate

Title: Kate

Series: Madison Kate

Author: Tate James

Release Date: October 2020

Madison Kate is a new adult/college age dark romance with enemies to lovers/hate to love themes. This is a reverse harem series, meaning the leading lady has several love interests and she doesn't have to choose between them for her happily ever after. If this isn't your cup of tea, then this isn't the series for you. ♥

KATE is book 4 of 4 in the MADISON KATE series. The blurb below may contain spoilers for previous books, and I urge you not to read it until you've finished HATE, LIAR and FAKE.

◆◆◆

“I never miss.”

Riot Night changed my life.

Coming back to Shadow Grove turned it on its head.

I’ve been hunted, stabbed, stalked, tormented, and used. Hate fueled me, lies tore me apart, and in the end everything I thought I knew turned out to be fake.

Except… Riot Night also brought Archer, Kody, and Steele back into my life. No matter how much I’ve fought it, hated it, been lied to or discovered the deceptions—I want them in my life.

No one owns me.

No one is taking them away.

This is my life, dammit, and these guys are mine to keep.

If a war is what it takes, then a war is what they'll get.

Wowie on a popsicle stick!
I absolutely loved these books!
Madison Kate want just some rich victim anymore. Wasn't just the princess of Shadow Grove either, now she was the queen, who could hold her ownagainst everyone who has done her wrong. Against Archer, Steele, and Kody. With them in her life, and on her side she can face of against anything.
I seriously loved these books, these stories and these characters. There was more going on then originally met the eye in the beginning. They were a dark and delicious RH with three incredible guys. Love, sex, danger? What more could someone need. These stories were gripping from beginning to end. 5⭐ out of 5⭐.

Review: Fake

Title: Fake

Series: Madison Kate

Author: Tate James

Release Date: August 2020

“You’ll always be mine.”

The latest taunt from my stalker reminded me I was nothing more than a possession to my father, to the Reapers, to Archer D’Ath. Even to Kody and Steele. Princess Danvers—the prize.

His wife.

Archer D’Ath’s wife.

I hate them. They lied to me. Over and over again. I knew they were lying, and I hate myself for letting it happen. For believing in the fake relationships I want so desperately to be real.

Fake.

It’s all fucking fake. My stalker won’t let me go. None of them will. Archer and his boys think they control me. My stalker wants to possess me. I’m not an idiot, I know my newest allies are using me too.

That’s fine.

I’ll use all of them. I’ll use them to take back what’s mine.

My life. My freedom. My name.

No one owns Madison Kate Danvers.

Oh my god, I'm freaking out, Batman! I'm not ok.
Madison Kate may have finally had her boys right where she wanted them... They were finally starting to be more forth-coming with her and at least trying to make things right. If only there wasn't outside circumstances at work threatening to make her life hell.
Archer, Steele and Kody have been keeping secrets, but when it is to protect Madison, can anyone really blame them?
The secrets and lies have finally come out, and now the guys were trying to do right by Madison. If only it was so easy.
Madison is now stronger then the guys have her credit for. But the guys are still overprotective alphas in everything- and who could blame them?
I honestly don't know what else to say. My mind keeps replaying the ending of this book that slayed me. I'm a ball of anxiety and emotions right now. I seriously think my heart stopped. I need the next book... Immediately. I need... I need answers but I'm also afraid of what I will find out. I'm a mess. I can safely say that I fell for these characters, and I love these books even though they will be the death of me. 5⭐ out of 5⭐

Review: Liar

Title: Liar

Series: Madison Kate

Author: Tate James

Release Date: June 2020

“Liar, liar, pants on fire.”

The words scrawled on the back of my newest stalker mail makes my blood run cold. I have no idea if it's the lie I know, or one that I don't.

Since arriving back into Shadow Grove, I've been stalked, tormented, chased and almost killed. I've been lied to, repeatedly, by people I was growing to trust.

Liar.

That word haunts me. Someone knows more about my life than I do. Someone is taunting me with answers and teasing me with secrets. Am I desperate enough to fall for more deception?

Archer and his boys made a huge mistake when they lied to me. They thought they could play me but they're about to learn that they've met their match. No one stabs Madison Kate and gets away with it.

Wow!
I'm at a loss for words and have no idea what to even say...
After Halloween night and how Madison left the boys, she has serious questions, but ones she isn't getting answers to. Things begin to escalate- not just with everything she had been dealing with, but with Archer, Steele, and Kody as well. Now she has to figure out if she trusts them to keep her safe, or if they may be behind everything that is going on. They are keeping something from her, and she won't stop until she gets answers.
I am seriously blown away, yet again. I am loving this story and these characters.
Madison isn't taking anything just lying down, she gives as good as she gets, despite the dangers she is in.
The boys are still keeping her in the dark, about everything, but things begin to shift between them all. Madison hasn't forgotten anything, but she has started to look past it, at least for now, as she is in forced proximity with at least one of the guys all the time. But they can't hide their secrets forever and Madison will find out.
I absolutely love Steele, Kody and Archer. And I cannot wait to dive into the next book- to see what happens next, not only in this story but with and between these characters. 5⭐ out of 5⭐.

Review: Hate

Title: Hate

Series: Madison Kate

Author: Tate James

Release Date: April 2020

“Madison Kate Danvers was murdered tonight.”

Those words changed my life, and not for the better.
They were wrong, of course. I wasn’t dead. But I was set up.
After being charged with a string of offences--and made an example of by my political minded father--I’m eventually released back into Shadow Grove with one thing on my mind.
Hate.
Someone is going to pay for derailing my carefully laid out future. Someone is going to catch the full force of my hate. How very convenient that someone just moved into the bedroom down the hall from me.
Archer D’Ath and his boys messed with the wrong chick and they’re about to learn just how cold Madison Kate’s hate can run.

HATE is a full length mature college/new adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book one of four in the series.

Wow!
This is my first Tate James book, and I went in blind, not knowing what to expect. And let me just say... Wooooow!!!
Madison Kate may have been at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and landed herself in trouble, not just with the gangs in her town, but with the law as well.
On the night of her alleged murder, she was thrown in jail, and upending her whole life, making it the second worse night of her life. All thanks to three unnamed men.
Eleven months later, she back only to find, those same three guys who ruined her life, in her house thanks to her father. Steele, Archer, and Kody, the three guys she hates most, now invading her space and thinking they have a right to boss her around. But Madison isn't a push over and she doesn't take kindly to the guys in her space.
Honestly, I didn't know what I was getting into when I picked up this book- but I loved it.
Madison Kate was strong and bad*ss. She didn't take being pushed around, or the three stubborn a**holes that now resided in her life. She may have been through a hell of a lot in her life, bit she didn't let it break her.
There was more to Steele, Archer and Kody then Madison had any idea of. This book Madison started off hating the three guys who starred in the second worse night of her life, but being in such close proximity she started feeling more than just hate. With so much going on, and learning a little about each of the guys, she began lowering her defenses around them. But could she really trust them after that fateful night?
Honestly, I loved this book, and cannot wait to jump into book two to find out what happens next in this story and with these characters, because holy hell batman stuff is about to go down! 5⭐ out of 5⭐
