Ok, so i don't know if you guys have been seeing the #metoo posts that have been spreading over Facebook & social media yet. Where people have been opening up about sexual harassment, sexual abuse and even rape. To show that, yes it happens way more than people really think. I haven't really shared much of this yet with people in my real life, but #metoo. I have been sexually harassed quite a bit growing up. Older guys making me feel uncomfortable. Other students in school. People at bars. Because I am a woman, i must be asking for it, right? #wrong. I have been sexually abused as a kid. A couple people close to me abused me sexually for a few years, once i had started my period. They were both a couple years older. I have been raped. Just because I liked the guy, didn't mean i was ready. I said no, more than once. But it doesn't count, right? #wrong So yes. #MeToo. You guys are not alone.
