Review: Where Bad Boys Are Ruined

Title: Where Bad Boys Are Ruined
Series: Good Girls series
Author: Holly Renee
Release Date: Dec 05

Blurb:

I ate leftover cupcakes and cracked macarons for breakfast.

I was ninety percent sure he simply ate up girls like me.

I was covered in paint splatters, cake batter, and sweat the first time I met him.

He was covered in badass tattoos and a smile that seemed to hold a secret I would never figure out.

Rule number 1 was never, under any circumstances, fall for the man who I wrote my lease check to.

So, I tucked him away in the “Fantasize Only” compartment of my brain and called it a day.

But he didn’t make it easy.

He was arrogant, funny, and the biggest flirt I had ever met.

Most of the time, I didn’t know if I was just a game to him.

If I didn’t know better, I’d say he was on a mission to ruin my life.

And maybe my heart, too.

Review:

"He looked like the kind of man who would wreck you, and I didn't mean your heart."
Brandon was a arrogant, successful tattoo artist. He was a player. A flirt. A bad boy. And can have any girl he wants. And his eyes are set on the new girl, Charlie.
Charlie is leasing next-door to the tattoo parlor. A redhead who is sweet. Adorable. Cute. Definitely not the kind of girl Brandon normally goes for. He should stay away- especially since she is getting ready to open up her own bakery.
But when he sees her out with David he realizes staying away isn't an option. Will Brandon ruin Charlie before she ruins him?
I had been looking forward to reading this book since I started the series, and I absolutely adored it. It was sweet, funny, and sexy and was a quick enough read to read in one night. I loved the dynamics between Brandon and Charlie. Loved the bad boy and sweet girl story line. And loved Brandon. It was a great read. 4.5⭐ out of 5⭐

Title: Side Hustle
Series: Dawson Family Series
Author: Emily Goodwin
Release Date: Dec 06

Blurb:

When Scarlet Cooper takes a new job as a nanny, she assumes she’s going to work for the rich couple who hired her. But instead of pulling up to their million-dollar estate, she finds herself on the front porch of a humble farmhouse, looking into the eyes of dark and brooding single dad, Weston Dawson.
It’s bad enough that Weston doesn’t have a fortune to charm out of him, but he’s also a cop. After marrying his high school sweetheart only to have her up and leave weeks after their baby was born, Weston has sworn off women for life. All that matters now is taking care of his son, Jackson.
If anyone can break down the tough exterior of the former soldier, it’s Scarlet. But just when she’s close to getting exactly what she wants, she’s faced with a whole new challenge, which just might be the biggest con she’s ever pulled: pretending she doesn’t love him.

Review: Veracity

Title: Veracity
Series: the Jilted Series
Author: S.M. Shade
Release Date: Dec 16
May contain spoilers. Veracity is book two in the Jilted series, and you have to read Duplicity first.

Blurb:

This isn’t the life I want.
Trapped in one random hotel room after another by a screaming crowd of fans and paparazzi. No friends or family nearby. Nothing that really makes me happy, except my music.
Music is my only love, the only thing that makes my heart beat fast and my blood run hot, until her. Kinley Matthews, the owner of the Foxhaven Resort, is nothing like the women I’m accustomed to dating, but she’s everything I need.

And she hates the sight of me.

Everything I’ve done has been for family.
That’s what I tell myself when the memory of her laugh seeps into my day.
I didn’t have a choice.
That’s my excuse when her devastated expression haunts my nights.
The truth is, every second of pain and heartache I suffer, I deserve it.
She loved me, and I destroyed her.

*This is the conclusion of Kinley and Holt's story. It's a full length novel with no cliffhanger. Please ignore the page count during the pre-order period.

Review:

After the ending of Duplicity, I was dying to find out what happens next to Kinsley, Holt, and the rest of the characters and couldn't wait to get my hands on this book!
Kinsley is trying to move on with her life, after what happened with Holt. Was everything between them a lie? But when Holt needs her, she wastes no time to be there for him and his family.
Holt has been living in solitude- guilt over what he did to Kinsley consumes him, until he gets a phone call that his family needs him to be there, he drops what he's doing. Surprised when Kinsley shows up to be there for him, maybe there is a chance that he can make things right between them after all.
Will Kinsley forgive him, or does the betrayal run too deep?
I really enjoyed this book. It's a different take on the rockstar romance, and this continues Holt and Kinsley's story from Duplicity. I still loved the characters, and loved seeing how their story goes. It still brought out a few emotions, and was such a great read. I stayed up way too late just to finish it, but enjoyed every minute with these characters. 4⭐ out of 5⭐.

Review:

Scarlet Cooper is a con-artist. Growing up, caring for her younger brother and sister, she had to do what she could to get by. When she gets a job as a nanny, she thinks she will easily be able to Con the rich couple who hires her- only to pull up to Weston's farmhouse.
Weston Dawson swore off women after his wife left only weeks after giving birth to their son. This former solider, now a cop, doesn't want to admit he needs help. When Quinn hires a nanny for him it took a little time to warm up to having this stranger look after his son. But it was nice having Jackson finally on a schedule. What he didn't expect was getting close to her. She's Jackson's Nanny, he shouldn't do anything that could jepordize her leaving.
Scarlet came to Weston's with the intention of thanking everything from him, but he got under her skin, and took the one thing she thought she lost years ago- her heart. Can Scarlet pull off the biggest con she has ever done, and pretend that she doesn't love Weston? Or will the Dawson's learn the truth about Scarlet?
I honestly loved this book. It was a little bit forbidden, a little bit fun, and a little bit sweet. I loved how strong Scarlet was for her family. I loved all of the Dawson's and the love they all had for each other- and Weston's love for Jackson. Perfect book to read this season under a cozy blanket with a cup of tea. And I  cannot wait to read more on the Dawson Family. 4.5⭐ out of 5⭐

Review: Where Bad Girls go to Fall

Title: Where Bad Girls Go To Fall
Series: the Good Girls series
Author: Holly Renee
Blurb:

Nothing good came from listening to my heart.

It was careless and irrational and became way too invested when I read a romance novel.

So I put her under lock and key.

I only had a few rules, and I always stuck with them.

1. Never get attached.

2. Always run before the feels become contagious.

3. No matter what, under no circumstances, never fall in love.

He was a playboy who ran by the same set of rules.

What we had together was fun, it was hot, and it was temporary.

Until he screwed everything up.

We were never meant to be each other's happily ever after, but the harder I tried to push him away, the further I fell.

Review:

Staci was a tattoo artist who loved romance novels. There wouldn't be a chance that real life could mimic that, so she didn't get too close, too invested. Not until an accidental text to the one guy she shouldn't think about. Mason was her best friend's brother, her boss' best friend and off limits.
The accidental text, led to drinks... And a night that shouldn't have happened. Staci is used to one night stands. Getting laid and getting out of there. She doesn't linger. She doesn't let feelings get in the way. And she certainly doesn't become friends with they guys she sleeps with.
Mason couldn't stop thinking about Staci since she texted him. She wasn't the kind of girl he went for. He went for the easy lays, not the girls who make him work for it. And Staci was beyond stubborn. But, Mason wasn't going to let it go. Not after a night of twenty questions. Not after a night of the best sex he has ever had. He had a plan, and becomibg friends was only the first step. But what happens when feelings, lies and secrets get thrown into the mix?
I loved this book. It was a friends to lovers romance. And I loved the chemistry and dynamics o between Staci and Mason. The push and pull. The chase. This was a fun quick and sexy read, that I enjoyed. 4.5⭐ out of 5⭐. And I am looking forward to reading Where Bad Boys are Ruined and continuing along with the series and all of these characters.

Review: Where Good Girls go to Die

Title: Where Good Girls go to Die
Author: Holly Renee
Blurb:

It was a bad idea from the beginning.

He was my brother's best friend and the definition of unavailable.

But I didn't care.

I had loved him for as long as I could remember.

He was worth the risk. He was worth everything.

But then he broke my heart as easily as I fell for him. He watched me fall, spiraling out of control, and as I reached for him, he wasn't there to catch me.

So I ran.

Four years later, I never expected to see him again.

He was still my brother's best friend, and he was more unavailable than ever.

He looked every bit the bad boy I knew he was, covered in tattoos and a crooked smile.

Guarding my heart from him was top priority because Parker James was where good girls go to die.

Unfortunately for him, I wasn't a good girl anymore.

Review:

"She was chaos and madness, her heart never sitting still for long, and when I was with her everything else crumbled away and I felt like I was home."

Live ran away from home, under the guise of going away to college. But while at her new job, she was sent out to dance for a bachelor party- only to come face to face with firmiliar green eyes. Green eyes she would know anywhere. Green eyes she once loved. Her brothers best friend...
Parker was at his bachelor party, soon to be married when a blast from his past came waltzing out on that stage. He can't take his eyes off her, glad her brother is bringing her back home. But since she walked back in his life, things have become more complicated. His wife was safe, Liv was wild. And it seems he hasn't stopped loving her.
With love, heartbreak, lies and secrets and Parker soon to be married, is there any hope for Liv and Parker?
IIlove siblings best friend stories, and I  enjoy Liv & Parker's story. I enjoyed the push and pull, the drama and angst. If you are looking for a good siblings best friend romance or second chance romance then you should pick up this book. 4.5⭐ out of 5⭐.

Release Blitz: Falling for the Playboy

FALLING FOR THE PLAYBOY
By Kennedy Fox
Release Day – Nov 15, 2018

Never trust a man who gets paid to take off his clothes for a living and then uses it as a pick-up line to get girls in bed with him.
That should’ve been enough for me to call in sick that day.
I’ve worked with male cover models like him before and they’re all the same—smooth-talking, sexy as sin, egotistical know-it-alls who think they’re God’s gift to women—all traits I know to steer clear of.
Assisting authors comes with many perks—reading on the job, using my organizing skills on a daily basis, drinking coffee by the gallons—but Maverick Kingston barges into my life and demands more than I can handle.
When we’re forced to road trip across the country together, he pushes every boundary I have and rearranges my thoughts on playing it safe. And when he “accidentally” drops his towel, he makes it very clear what he’s offering and proves he’s packing more than abs of steel under his clothes.
Working with him was brutal, but falling for him was unexpected.
And playing by the rules will be impossible.

EXCERPT
Olivia’s POV

“Can I turn off this church music?” Maverick asks thirty minutes into our trip. He leans forward and starts messing with the knob.
“It’s nice driving music,” I argue, swatting his hand away.
“You can’t be serious. This shit is gonna put you to sleep and then we’re going to crash and die. You really want that on your conscious?”
The corner of his lips tilt up just the slightest.
“Guess it wouldn’t matter. I’d be dead.” I flash a smug smile right back at him.
“Oh I see how it is. You look all innocent and smart but deep down you have this morbidness to you.”
I shoot him a look. “You’re the morbid one with all your crashing and dying talk.” I turn my music back on. “Now no more talking about it because if I don’t get you to these events on time, Rachel will actually kill me.”
“Why you so scared of her anyway? I could fit her in my pocket. She looks harmless enough.”
Glancing at him, I try to focus on the road and shake my head. “You know she’s anything but harmless.”
He chuckles, shaking his head. “Yeah, you’re right. She’s not a firecracker like you though.”
“I’m not even sure what that means, but you can’t label me when you just met me.”
“Oh, like you haven’t labeled me already?”
“I know your kind. I’ve heard plenty about you to form an opinion,” I tell him with purpose.
“God, you’re so hypocritical. You think you’re the first prissy, stick-up-her-ass assistant I’ve met? Doesn’t mean I know you just like it doesn’t mean you know me.
He kinda has a point, but I don’t tell him that. His ego is already taking up all the space in the car.
Ignoring his comment, I focus on driving. We’re in heavy traffic and I’m not used to eight lane highways.
“You better get over,” he says.
“I’m trying.” I look over my shoulder, searching for a spot to move into.
“Might wanna try the blinker. I heard it’s a signal for turning or moving over.”
I sigh and put it on. He’s distracting me.
“Stay quiet so I can focus.”
His chuckles are the last thing I hear from him as I attempt to merge across the lanes. Finally, I make it and we coast down the highway in silence until we’re leaving the city.
“When are we stopping for food?” He speaks up for the first time in hours. I look over at him and see he’s sticking his lower lip, making a pouty face. “I’m shriveling to nothing over here.” He slightly lifts his shirt up and pats his ridiculously cut stomach.
His eyes meet mine, and I quickly look away although he saw me staring. Swallowing, I look at the GPS to see how much further until our first stop.
“We have about an hour left,” I tell him. “Think you’ll manage to stay alive for that long?”
He groans, loudly and it makes me laugh. I quickly catch myself and stop.
“You have a nice laugh. It’s a pleasant change from your short fuse and snarl.”
“I don’t snarl!” I argue. “I just like having a plan and sticking to it.”
He noticeably rolls his eyes. “Okay, Miss Priss. Letting your hair down won’t kill ya.”
“No, but your arrogant, self-absorbed attitude just might,” I throw at him, holding back a smirk.
“Well, I think that’s debatable. Most of the women I date think it’s charming.”
A loud snort bursts out of me, and I’m unable to keep in the laughter this time. “I think that says more about who you’re dating than anything. They must be desperate.”
“Damn, what a burn.” He chuckles. “Adding hostile to your personality resume.”
I inhale a deep breath, realizing that was a really mean thing to say. “Okay, sorry. That wasn’t nice. But I’m not taking back what I said about you. You’re arrogant and there’s no denying that”
“Oh well then thanks, I guess.” He smirks. “You say it like being arrogant is a bad thing though. In my profession, I kinda have to be. I’m constantly selling myself to photographers and showing them I’m worthy of being in their magazines and advertisements. If I don’t act confident and prove I’m the best guy for the gig, I’ll lose it to the thousands of other people pursuing the job.”
I think about his words for a minute. “Okay, well I can certainly understand that. But I think you’re just naturally that way.” I shrug, biting down on my lower lip so he doesn’t see right through me. He has every right to be confident, there’s no doubt about that. He’s got it all—the body, the face, the perfect white teeth and smile. His abs are plastered all over Rachel’s covers and book promo graphics. He even has that annoying muscular V that trails from his hips to down below his waistline. Annoyingly sexy. “However, that doesn’t mean you can’t be humble in other aspects of your life.”
“That’s a pretty big accustation for someone you just met. How do you know I’m not? You haven’t been around me long enough to know anything about me. Don’t you think?”
Damn. He’s right. “Fine. Prove me wrong then.”

Review: Outside The Lines

Title: Outside the Lines
Author: Emily Goodwin

Blurb:

When a tall, dark, and handsome stranger literally runs into Felicity Hills at a coffee shop and spills her iced mocha down the front of her shirt, she doesn’t think the embarrassing encounter will lead to anything more, let alone be the single event that causes her life to spiral out of control.

And now she can’t get him out of her head, and he’s making her question everything just when she thought she got a handle on this thing called life. Because Ben has it all. Good looks. A job as killer as his abs. Great hair and great skills in bed. There is no way someone as irresistible as him can be into someone like Felicity.

Right?

Review:

Outside the Lines follows Felecity who is a bit of a nerd- loves comic con, even making her own cosplaying costumes, stay up late binge watching shows or gaming, and is smart. But has deep seeded insecurities not only because of high school but because of her past boyfriends. When a tall dark and handsome guy runs into her at a coffee shop, she let's still that she is going to work for an asshole client. When she walks into her clients office- it is none other then tall dark and handsome- Ben. Ben is an artist who moved here from New York City. He has everything- good looks, an awesome job, and amazing body... So what does he see in her?
I enjoyed this book. I related so much to Felecity. I am a nerd too, although not as smart or into gaming, I love some of the same shows and movies and love comic con (although I don't cosplay). I enjoyed Felicity's interactions with her friends, cat, and Ben. And really didn't care for Mindy- I was definitely not part of the cool crowd as a teen. 4⭐ out of 5⭐. This was a quick, light, fun read, .and exactly what I was looking for.

Release Blitz: Tequila Tequila

Tequila + you best friend + your bedroom =  um, whoopsie?

Tequila Tequila, an all-new hilarious standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!!

Don’t sleep with your best friend.
Take it from me. I did it. And it was awful.
I-wish-the-tequila-made-me-forget kind of bad.
The problem is, Luke has forgotten. He swears that he can’t remember a thing about that night beyond the trays of tequila shots being set on the tables.
Except I can’t forget. I can’t forget how good his hands felt until I fell over and hit my hip on the dresser, and I sure as hell can’t forget the entire two minutes of tap-tap-squirt.
Awkward. Embarrassing. And the new subject of a couple of dirty lucid dreams.
But I have no intention of telling him what we did. Nothing good comes from telling your best friend he’s the worst guy you’ve ever slept with.
Which makes the tequila on my birthday a very, very bad idea…

Review:

Olivia is married to her job, working sixty or more hours a week when her boss, best selling novelist Rachel needs her. Even though her boss can be overbearing and overcontrolling at times, she really loves her job. Until Maverick shows up. Maverick is the cover model on all of Rachel's books, and is traveling with them to Rachel's book signing events for two weeks. Except he doesn't fly. So Olivia has to babysit and road trip with Maverick. She knows his type, arrogant, Playboy. And he immediately pushes her buttons, showing up late even though Olivia adheres to a strict schedule.
Maverick is a model from LA, who is on the cover of best selling author Rachel's books. He agreed to go on a quick two week tour. Upon meeting Olivia- he had her type pegged from the start - uptight, over controlling priss. He enjoys pushing her buttons and realizes this trip will be a lot more interesting than he initially thought.
Olivia and Maverick have a strick set of rules to follow. Be on time, no sleeping with the fans, make Rachel look good and no fratrinizing. That shouldn't be too hard right?
This book is a quick fun read, perfect to read in one sitting. It follows Olivia and Maverick on their two week long road trip. They started out as complete opposites, Olivia wanting nothing more to do with Maverick then what she has to, to keep her job. I loved the back and forth and  banter between the two. It was a fun, quick read and I was able to finish it in one day, picking it up whenever I had a spare moment. Some moments actually made me laugh, and some moments were touching. I loved that two very different personalities were able to find some coming ground, and then some. So what happens when the two weeks are up, and they have to go their separate ways back home?
4.5⭐ out of 5⭐. I really enjoy this story and cannot wait to read Falling for the Cowboy when it comes out!

Review: I Dare You

Title: I Dare You
Author: Shantel Tessier
Blurb:

What do you do when the devil has you in his sights?

You show him that you can play his game.

Austin Lowes is new to town. She's running from a mom who hates her to her dad who cares nothing about her. Only a few months and she will be free, or at least, that's what she hopes ... until she meets him.

Cole Reynolds is the devil disguised as a man. He wants her fear, he wants her blood, and he wants her soul.

Just a little game, he says, I dare you.

Will Austin survive him, or will she lose herself and the game?

Secrets are revealed and justice will be served, but at what cost?

Who survives and who doesn't?

Review:
Oh my goodness. This book. This book right here.
Austin is new to a small town. Her mom that hates her shipped her back to her dad who wants nothing to do with her. Just a few months of high school left, and she will finally be free. Until she stumbles apon Cole, and something she shouldn't have seen.
Cole is the devil himself. And once he sets his sights on her her wants everything. He wants her tears, her blood, her fear and her soul. He wants her all to himself. He wants to break and destroy her. It's just a game, and all the players are sharks.
Will Austin survive to see freedom, or will she be fed to the sharks?
I was hesitant going into this book, I have had it for months on my Kindle but haven't picked it up until recently. I hit a book funk, and was looking for something to take me out. And this book did it (only to throw me back into a new one!)
Cole is a Savage. A shark. He gets everything he wants. And he has his sights set in Austin. But Austin doesn't back down like he initially thought she would, and now she's in too deep, and over her head, playing a game she knows nothing about. Will it cost her her life in the end?
I honestly loved Cole. He was so dark, and twisted, and broken. He had been deleted a shit hand, but chose to fight to become powerful and someone everyone fears.
Austin was stubborn, and strong, and surprised and impressed Cole and his bodies. Her life was traded in from one hell to another, but she wouldn't go down without a fight.
It was a great read, full of twists and turns, and keep me on my toes never knowing what to expect. I loved it! 5⭐ out of 5⭐.

Contemporary Romance
Stand Alone
Designed by: Letitia Hasser RBA designs

Blurb:
Briggs,

Remember when we parted ways in Germany? It was the day I broke your heart. What you didn't know was that I was breaking mine too.

I thought they’d be enough–my husband and my son. That I’d get home and everything would go back to the way it was . . .

Before the war.
Before the ambush.
Before you.

But, no matter how hard I try, I can’t erase the trauma we shared. I can’t seem to forget the way my heart beat in time with yours.

The truth is I’m lost without you.

I thought the nightmare was over when they pulled us from that hole in the ground, but nothing could have prepared me for the war I’d face at home.
I know it’s selfish of me to ask, but, please, I have to see you one last time. . .

All my love,
Scottie

EXCERPT:
“I need you to break my heart,” she declares, wringing her hands nervously. “Give me a reason to hate you, because wanting you this way is…it’s ruining me. It’s ruining my life.”

She is dead serious.
Lifting her chin, as if ready to take a blow, her turbulent eyes implore mine. “Tell me about them. Tell me about all of the women you’ve been with since Germany.”

“No.” I shake my head. “Hell no.”

“Oh, please, Briggs. How long did you wait? A few days?” She laughs sarcastically. “I bet you didn’t even make it a day.”

She’s coming out guns blazing, and I can see it’s physically killing her to do it.

“Are we playing the guessing game? Do I get to ask how many times you’ve fucked your husband?”

“Sure,” she says with a shrug. “We’ll trade. You go first.”

She’s bluffing, and I’m calling her on it.

“Don’t do this, Scottie. You don’t really want to hear about that.”

“Humor me, Briggs.” Her eyes plead with mine. “I need to hear this.”

“Fine. You want the truth?”

She nods.

“Complete honesty?”

Again, she bobs her head.

She stands stock-still as I pace the small room, feeling the blood begin to boil beneath my overheated skin.

Fuck it.
I stalk back toward her, stopping inches away. “You really want to know that there have been so many that I’ve lost count? How they’re all blondes with blue eyes? But the blue, it’s never right, and their smiles—all wrong.”

She swats at the fresh tears that trail down her cheeks as her lips begin to tremble. Reaching out, she places a hand on my chest, and I know that she must feel the way my heart is pounding against my rib cage, reaching for her. Always reaching for her.

I jerk myself away and brand that touch to memory.

In about forty-five seconds, my heart is going to implode. I start ticking them down.

“You want me to tell you all about how I have to drink myself stupid, till their faces blur enough that I can pretend…” I pause running a hand down my face. “So that I can pretend they’re you? You want to know how fucking miserable I am? How when I slide between their legs, I close my eyes, and it’s your face I see? How I’m always careful not to kiss them because their lips are all wrong. How every time I finish I want to fucking kill myself, because I can’t stand the pain of wanting the one woman I can never have.”

Thirty seconds.

“Is that enough?” Her eyes snap to mine. “Hate me yet?”

Face crumbling, she gasps out a sob, wrapping her arms around her shoulders.

“Come on, Scottie. Let’s not kid ourselves. I’m still the same prick you hated when we met. Nothing’s changed. I think we’ve romanticized this situation long enough, don’t you?”

Taking another step away from her, I tilt my head. “You’re a housewife,” I say snidely. “Someone else’s wife and I’m a career soldier. This isn’t exactly ideal.”

She flinches visibly, and my heart bottoms out.

Fifteen.

I cut my hand through the air. “At the end of the day, this was nothing but a big mistake. And we never would have happened if—”

“Stop,” she cries out painfully, “stop, I’m good,” she whispers before rocketing toward the door just as I reach for her, my fingers curling in the space she just left. Handle in hand, she looks back at me with the sweep of her eyes until they meet mine. That’s how we started, and it’s only fitting it’s how we should end. For the moment, we’re right back there in the place we created, where we are perfect. Where our souls line up without any visible smudge on the seams. In a place where there is still so much love, so much that I can’t stop the tear that slides out before batting it away with the back of my hand.

An identical tear runs down her cheek. “Thank you.”

Three. Two. One.

Review:
"And it's there, on that blanket under a glittering moon, that we collide."

Omg I don't even have the words to describe this book.

Katy Scott is a Sergeant, going away to war with her best friend Jessica Mullins- while leaving her family behind.
Trying to get through her self doubts and fall into her work, Katy meets Briggs, who quickly becomes a friend to her.
But what Katy faces out there is more than anyone should have to face. And now, one her way home she has to make it through a different battle. A battle of surviving. A battle with her husband and family waiting at home. At a war with her heart, which is now vying for two men instead of just one. Katy must make the hardest decisions in her life while trying to piece herself back together.

This book was an emotional ride from beginning to end. I sat here in tears as I read over the words on my Kindle. I sat here gripping my chest as I felt the emotions swarming inside me. I love a book that can make me feel, and this is it.
Both Katy and Briggs go through something tramatic. Where Katy was Strong, brave, and free, and Briggs was confident, cocky, and a shameless flirt before, they must find a way to survive after. While they were in hell they only had each other, but now their reality and lives must tear them apart. Katy back to her husband and son, and Briggs back to the only thing he knows. Can either of them survive?
Honestly I loved it.
If you love military romance,
If you love love-triangles,
If you love angst, or books brimming with emotion then you need to read this book!!
5⭐ out of 5⭐.
