Review: Scoundrels & Scotch

Title: Scoundrels & Scotch
Author: Alta Hensley
(May Contain Spoilers)

Synopsis:

I’ll stop at nothing to own her.

I’m a collector of dolls.
All kinds of dolls.

So beautiful and sexy, they become my art.
So perfect and flawless, my art galleries are flooded by the wealthy to gaze upon my possessions with envy.
So fragile and delicate, I keep them tucked away for safety.
The dark and torrid tales of Drayton’s Dolls run rampant through the rich and famous, and all but a few are true.
Normally I share my dolls for others to play with or watch on display.

But not my special doll.
No, not her.
Ivy is the most precious doll of all.
She’s mine. All mine.

*Scoundrels & Scotch is a dark billionaire romance. If you don’t like a splash of shock, a dash of taboo, and a heavy dose of sex, then don’t take a sip of this TOP SHELF cocktail.

Review:

I was intrigued by Victor & his Drayton's Dolls, since they were first mentioned in the other top shelf books, and couldn't wait to dive into Scoundrels & Scotch, and it definitely didn't disappoint.
Victor part owner of Spiked Roses, was wealthy, dominant, and wanted all his dolls to be perfect.
Ivy worked at Spiked Roses as a waitress until she lost her job after a drug test came back positive. When Victor offered her a job as a Drsyton Doll, how could she say no? She needed the money. But was she prepared for everything being a doll entailed?
Victor & Ivy's relationship moved quickly- maybe more quickly than i would have liked, but the story, like the others of the Top Shelf series was full of sex, and danger, and held my interest throughout. I give this 4⭐ out of 5⭐, and am also anticipating book for in the Top Shelf series!
