Blurb:
The first time I met Ian Kemp in the sparkling blue waters of St. Thomas, I was six years old and we shared a summer beneath the stars.

The second time I met Ian Kemp, he was a shell of the boy I once knew. Turbulent and infuriating, he refused my friendship at every turn. Like me, he was a casualty of life’s cruelty, but we were planets apart.

We’d both sought refuge on the island, hoping to find our anchor. Instead, we found each other and managed to reclaim our stars...until we both got swept away.

Review:

Koti and Ian met one summer years ago and quickly became friends- despite the age difference. When Koti's life doesn't go as planned she retreats to the beach home again to find herself. Getting herself back together again, she finds a friend, and work making her retreat on the beach property permanent.
Ian Kemp had his world shattered. That same day he boarded a plane for getaway from the world- what better than the Island of St. Thomas. With his life imploding around him, he doesn't need the infurriating girl next door sticking her nose in his business.
They rekindle their childhood friendship, which soon add on the benefits that they both need, getting  seept away  cointhe moment, the island- but they live in separate worlds. Will what they have on the island survive the real world?
Honestly I picked up this book and could scarcely put it down. It was so emotional, and I loved how much this book made me feel. I loved how strong Koti was, despite everything. I loved and felt for Koti, and Ian. I loved Ella & Jasmine. I was captivated by Koti & Ian's story. "And so, I'm here living someone else's life, in someone else's house staring at someone else's ocean." 5⭐ out of 5⭐.

Review: Bad Little Bride

Title: Bad Little Bride Series: Girls of Greyson Author: Meagan Brandy Release Date: January 7, 2025 Degradation of the Desperate Daughter. That could be the theme song to my life.  Always second choice. Second best. Second born. Maybe that’s what possessed me to track down my father’s most formidable enemy, the infamous Enzo Fikile. He’s the nation’s most eligible bachelor, and the crime world I was born into’s biggest threat, but not because he wants to tear it down. No. This man wants to claim his place within it and if the whispers working their way around are anything to go by, he’s well on his way. And I just offered him a golden ticket, one he accepted with an unexpected spark in his eye. We signed our marriage contract that night, and the deal with the devil was done. I’m engaged to the man the rest of the world fears and there’s no going back. I expect to be tossed in a tower and left there, but my future husband has other plans. Dangerous ones. He wants the world t...
