Review: Tempting Little Thief

Title: Tempting Little Thief

Series: Girls of Greyson

Author: Meagan Brandy

Release Date: June 1

Bastian Bishop. That’s his name.

He’s rough, rugged, and utterly unpredictable.

He’s not cautious or contemplative. He’s a volcano. Silent and steady one second, and a nightmare in the next.

But that’s not the worst of it.

This guy? He’s an outsider and in my world outsiders don’t belong.

They’re unwanted, unwelcome and known to disappear without a trace, yet he doesn’t seem to care.

After one night of reckless rebellion, the tattooed tyrant keeps coming back, sneaking into my world without permission, and causing trouble I can’t allow.

I should end this now before my father discovers his existence and does it for me, but he won’t allow it.

He says, like it or not … I am his now, that nothing and no one will stand in his way.

What he refuses to understand is I’m a Girl of Greyson, a coveted queen of sorts in the underground crime world.

He’s a nobody, an insignificant man with nothing to his name, marking him a threat to my own.

We could never be, but he won’t hear it.

And me? I know exactly how this ends.

Or so I thought I did, until betrayal burns so deep that suddenly nothing makes sense.

Nothing but him…

Oh my gawd!!!

I don't even know what to say. I FLOVED this book!!

It is book one in the Girls of Greyson series, BUT you do meet one of the main characters in the Brayshaw series- so while you technically don't need to read anything before this one, I would definitely recommend it!

Bastian Bishop.

He doesn't fit in Rocklin's world. He's an outsider. He's rough and unpredictable and a nobody with nothing to his name. And outsiders are unwelcome and unwanted, and have a tendency to disappear. But Bastian? He doesn't care. He keeps coming back, sneaking into Rocklin's world. Causing trouble, that Rocklin won't allow. Because Rocklin? She's more than just a rich preppy girl. She's a Girl of Greyson, a queen of sorts in the underground crime world. And her father never would allow them to be together. But like it or not, Rocklin is his, and nothing or no one will stand in his way.

Gahhh!!

This book. This flipping book. I have no words, I don't know what to say. It was every freakin' thing. I loved every second of it. LOVED Bass Bishop. Loved him from the very moment I first met him all those years ago when Brayshaw came out. I have been waiting all this time for his book, and Meagan did not disappoint.

Loved the set up into the new world of Greyson. Loved every single thing about Bass. Loved the back and forth between Bastian & Rocklin, & their story. Rocklin was strong & badass, & Bass was resilient & chaos. The two were from two different worlds. They shouldn't work. But they do.

If you like secret societies, rich girls who are more than they seem, & poor punks who don't belong, and a possessive & obsessive hero that will burn the world down for his girl then THIS book is for you!!

5 "fuck around & find out" ⭐ out of 5⭐.

3🌶️ out of 5🌶️ - multiple detailed scenes throughout

Tropes:

→ contemporary romance

→ new adult

→ academy

→ secret society

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

So this past weekend my aunt passed away.  But on a more positive note, this was my daughter's last week of school. She had half days all week and now she is home for summer break until after Labor Day in September.  And I finished up two books. We started rewatching Dexter, and watching season two of Perfect Match.  What I Read This Week:  Title: Leather & Lark Series: The Ruinous Love trilogy Author: Brynne Weaver   Release Date: June 04 So I love these characters, but this story had a lot of fluff, and at the end felt a little rushed. 4⭐ out of 5⭐.  See Full Review Here .  Title: Lights Out  Author: Navessa Allen   Rereleases August 06, 2024  I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Weekly Newsletter - June 13

As my daughter's school year is winding down, they are trying to cram more things in it - from chorus concerts, to a play, to fun days, and field trips and parties... So it's been a bit hectic.  Also, last Thursday went to run errands before my daughter's chorus concert, & to grab Leather & Lark from Walmart (live in a small town. Walmart is the only place to buy books locally). And they were completely sold out 😭 So I ordered it online (Amazon "2 day shipping" still takes a week 😒). Plus I got a book last week - only UPS left it in a puddle. 😭 We were all home. Could have knocked or even honked or SOMETHING - but no. So also waiting on the replacement for that was well.  Also, I tried to convince my husband we needed to go to B&N in NYC (which is like 7 hours south of us give or take 😂😂) to meet Brynne Weaver to no success.  Annnddd... I tried the challenge of getting my husband to buy my wishlist for me for likes on social media... He wouldn...
