Review: The Fabric Of Our Souls

Title: The Fabric of Our Souls

Author: K M. Moronova

Release Date: November 2023

I’m twenty-six years old, and I want to die.

So when I wake up at the hospital with my brother weeping over me, I know my life is about to change. What I didn’t expect was to get a nurse with cruel eyes and a morbid sense of humor that surpasses my own.

I’m even more surprised when I arrive at Harlow Sanctum and realize that my brother selected an unorthodox rehabilitation center that rooms people based on their treatment plan. And my roommate is none other than the man with cruel eyes I met the day prior.

I crave death—he craves life.

Check trigger Warnings before going in - it definitely has dark themes & content.

Wynn craves death. But the mysterious boy she meets craves life, craves pain. She doesn't expect that same chance encounter, to be her new roommate at an unorthodox rehabilitation center.

Her roommate Liam with cold blue eyes, and a bitter personality. Could they be each other's cure, or will they be toxic for one another?

"And just like that, I think I’ve found something as compelling as death."

Sooo I just finished this book & oh my god 🥺 - it was dark & twisted, & beautiful & tragic. And I don't even know what to say about it.

I absolutely felt for and related to both Wynn and Liam, & understood what they were going through.

This book is definitely emotional & heavy & I was not only glad to be reading a seperate book that I could escape to when this one became too much, but sooo glad that I was buddy reading, & we bonded over this book. 💙

On top of the emotion, there was also some intrigue and mystery sprinkled throughout.

Overall, this was a great read. I loved reading Wynn and Liam's story and journey. It was heartbreakingly beautiful and twisted 🫶 .

4⭐ out of 5⭐. I loved connecting with the characters, & loved the emotion from this book, I just felt like there was a few minor details that could have been expanded upon.

3🌶️ out of 5 🌶️. - multiple scenes in detail through the book.

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
