Book Tag: Bookish Courtship Tag

So I found this tag a little while ago on Thrice Reads Blog and it looked like a lot of fun, so i figured i would give it a shot. So here is the Bookish Courtship Tag.

Phase 1: Initial attraction: a book that you bought because of the cover

I bought the Grisha Trilogy and Six of Crows duo all because of the covers- and the one quote from the darkling. "Fine, make me your villain." I thought the Darkling would be a character I would like, & i absolutely fell in love with him. Usually I am notso quick to buy a book because i can be very pi my on what i read, but i had to have them & am so glad i did.

Phase 2: First impressions: a book that you got because of the summary

A Court of Thorns and Roses. It was A beauty & the beast retelling, which is my favorite Disney princess so of course i had to check it out.

Phase 3: Sweet talk: a book with great writing

Angfall trilogy.

Phase 4: First date: a first book of a series which made you want to pursue the rest of the series

City of Bones. I have bought every Shadowhunters book after that one because i was hooked. I love the series.

Phase 5: Late night phone call: a book that kept you up all night long

There are so very many! A Court of Mist and Fury was one, & Lord of Shadows was another. I will stay up till 4am just to finish a book because i can't put it down- just for my daughter to wake me at 7 for the day.

Phase 6: Always on my mind: a book that you could not stop thinking about

Again, A Court of Mist and Fury. I was obsessed. After finishing it, i reread ACOTAR, & ACOMAF, & read fan fic, & even started my own fan fic.

Phase 7: Getting physical: a book in which you love the way it feels

I love the feel of most books. The hard cover or paper back. The way the pages feel. The weight of it in my hands. And just being surrounded by them. Nothing can compare.

Phase 8: Meeting the parents: a book you would recommend to your friends and family

I recommend so many. From YA, & Fantasy, & romance. I absolutely loved Drive by Kate Stewart. 💙

Phase 9: Think about the future: a book series that you know you’ll re-read many times in the future

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. I just love Will and Jen & the story & emotions.

Phase 10: Share the love: who would you like to tag?

Anyone and everyone who wants to do it!
Thank you all for checking out my blog. I would love to see your answers so don't forget to tag me if you do this challenge!
