Book Tag: the Ultimate Book Tag

Hey everyone!
Lately i haven't been doing as many book tags as i would have liked, so, i thought why notdo the Ultimate Book Tag? I found this on Danielle's Blog & it looked like loads of fun. (Her answers are Here

1. Do you get sick while reading in the car?
Not usually. I do feel a little queasy If the roads are particularly windy/bumpy etc. though
2. Which author’s writing style is completely unique to you and why?
I love so many & so many have unique perspective on things. Leigh Bardugo is one of myfsv's who has unique style of writing & i love it!
3. Harry Potter Series or the Twilight Saga? Give 3 points to defend your answer.
Uhh, well i like both, but i didnt read Harry Potter until this past year, so i am going to say Twilight.
1. Because it was one of the first books that got me into the YA genre
2. I love vampires, I mean, what with Buffy, and Queen of the Damned, and TVD just to name a few
3. It brings back the nostalgia feeling, & revisiting Forks WA.
4. Do you carry a book bag? If so, what is it in (besides books…)?
I do OWN a book bag & some totes. But usually I don't even carry a purse around bc its too mich extra stuff. Just my daughters diaper bag where ever we go.
5. Do you smell your books?
Sometimes.
6. Books with or without little illustrations?
I do love illustrations, headers, drawings in the margins, and book maps- but I also love books that don't have any of that. Because its about the story, and the characters, & the feelings the books give me.
7. What book did you love while reading but discovered later it wasn’t quality writing?
There are probably a few, like Twilight for one, but i still love it, even despite the problems.
8. Do you have any funny stories involving books from your childhood? Please share!
Uhh, i can't think of any off the top of my head at the moment...
9. What is the thinnest book on your shelf?
I have a book of poems that I believe is the thinnest, but i am not at my shelf at the moment to tell you the title or author.
10. What is the thickest book on your shelf?
Well i have a 9lb Lord of the Rings from book to screen. Seriously, this thing is massive!
11. Do you write as well as read? Do you see yourself in the future as being an author?
I love writing, but i don't think i am that good... I would love to be an author, but it probably isn't goingto happen.
12. When did you get into reading?
I have been a reader my whole life.
13. What is your favorite classic book?
The Velveteen Rabbitby Margery Williams.
14. In school was your best subject?
English & Science. I was horrible at math though, ehich goes hand & hand with science.
15. If you were given a book as a present that you had read before and hated…what would you do?
I would thank them for buying me a gift- and a book at that! It will have a place on my shelf, or be given away later on, but at the time, it was thoughtful of them.
16. What is a lesser known series that you know of that is similar to Harry Potter or the Hunger Games?
Secrets of the Tally by Halie Fewkes. It is a dystopian/fantasy series, about two different kinds of races (the humans, & Escali). The main characters are kids that are trying to make it through this world, & the female lead had her memories wiped clean- she doesn't remember anything! I seriously loved both books & would recommend them for YA, Adventure, Fantasy, & Magic lovers!
17. What is a bad habit you always do (besides rambling) while filming?
I only blog.
18. What is your favorite word?
Hmm... I don't know.
19. Are you a nerd, dork, or dweeb? Or all of the above?
Part need, part dork. Seriously love it.
20. Vampires or Fairies? Why?
I love both. One of my favorite vampires is Damon Salvatore, and one of my favorite faeries is Rhysand
21. Shapeshifters or Angels? Why?
Angels
22. Spirits or Werewolves? Why?
Hmm, both are interesting, I don't know which i prefer over the other though.
23. Zombies or Vampires?
Vampires!
24. Love Triangle or Forbidden Love?
Honestly i like both haha. Drive by Kate Stewart is a great love triangle story, & the Shadowhunter stories by Cassandra Clare are a great forbidden love story(s)
25. AND FINALLY: Full on romance books or action-packed with a few love scenes mixed in?
I love and read both! I read everything from YA, Fantasy, Dystopian, to Romance, NA, Contemporary & everything in between. I am a mood reader, so it depends on my mood on which i will pick up from day to day.
