Book Tag: Book Blogger Insider Tag

It'sSunday which means, time for another book tag! Of course, i wasn't actually tagged, but i came across this one at Jacquie (Rattle the Stars) Blog - so don't forget to check out her blog πŸ˜‰- and it looked like fun so i thought i would give it a go!

Rules:

1. Answer the questions below
2. Credit the creator: Jamie @ALittleSliceofJamie
3. Tag at least 5 people
4. Have fun! πŸ™‚

Questions:

1. Where do you typically write your blog posts?
We don't have internet/Wi-Fi where we are at (not available yet), so everything i do is on my phone. So where-ever i am at (usually in bed, sometimes at the table while eating, etc)
2. How long does it generally take you to write a book review?
It depends. Some times I can crack one out in a matter of minutes, other times I am left sitting here trying to work out my thoughts & emotions. Either way, i try to get the review up as soon as possible after i finish (before i start another book.)
3. When did you start your book blog?
I had to switch my blog over from wordpress, since it was giving me all sorts of problems- lame i know. But my new blog was founded this past October I believe. Wordpress was founded about a year & a half before that.
4. What is the worst thing about having a book blog in your opinion?
I don't really know? Sometimes, its just posting as much as i do. I post everyday. Most days it is book blitz, cover reveals, blog tours, etc. Then i post a review to books as soon as i finish a book. I do book tags on Sundays. Don't get me wrong, I love my blog, i love sharing all the book info etc. But its so hard to catch up on posts if i fall behind, and can be a bit overwhelming sometimes.
5. What is the best thing about having a book blog in your opinion?
Sharing my love of books with others, and discovering books that I don't think I would have found before. I absolutely love Kennedy Fox books, but they are Indie authors that i may never have found if i wasn't blogging. And if i hadn't found them, then i may not have gotten back into reading romance again, and would have missed out on loads of great books over the past year.

6. What blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?

Honestly, I enjoy all my posts. Ok, so the blog tours (book blitzes, cover reveals, etc) can get to be too much sometimes, since most days I do one-five of them. But in the end, i love sharing about books that I have personally loved or think i would enjoy with others.

7. What is your favorite type of blog post to write?

Book tags, reviews, & unboxings. Its more personal. I can actually put what I like down, & share it. I also just started doing monthly wrap-ups sharing about the books i read and which books made the top of my list, which is fun. I am also trying to share all the new releases every month, but it is pretty hard to keep up with, haha.

8. When do you typically write?

Every day. Seriously, with how many posts i do, I need to write them up every day. The night before (or as soon as possible) I write up the book blitz/blog tours that I want to share (i get so many in my inbox, I have to go through them all, & narrow it down to 5 or less a day!) Then post it the day before (i hate if i get it the day of. Seriously, give me some notice). I find i fall behind if I try & post the days post on that day. Or i stress out. This way I am a little more laid back with it.
In fact this post was actually written yesterday. Haha.

9. Do you review every book you read?

Yes, since i have started blogging, I try to review every book.

10. How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your fur baby?

Like i had said, everything is done on my phone. So usually first thing in the morning, i am writing up what needs to be posted the next day or so, and posting my Instagram post for the day(i take the photos before hand- a bout a week worth at a time). Sharing any posts to my fb page or Twitter.
Then throughout the day I check on my pages/posts, reply to any comments/messages. Adding any posts if need be. I don't know if when we finally get internet i could actually do it feom a laptop. Sure it maybe easier, but to actually sit and devote time to it? When I use my phone I can multitask so much easier, haha. Being a mom, i need that.

11. How often do you post?

Basically every single day. Sometimes life gets in the way & makes it difficult. But i try to post at least once every day (or update my pages with new releases etc). I also post on my instagram every day as well.
