Ingredients:
Frozen dinner rolls or pizza dough or crescent dough (any fridge/freezer dough like grands will work
Jar of pizza sauce
2cups Shredded cheese (we use mozzarella, but you can use what you prefer)
Pepperoni and/or any toppings you prefer (we do bacon bits and olives, since my daughter enjoys olives)
Directions:
- If using dinner rolls, Place 12 frozen dinner rolls on greased pan. Allow dinner rolls to defrost (set them out for about 1- 2 hours). After dough is defrosted spread out until it is about palm sized.
- Or can use pizza dough or present rolls dough, and place in muffin tin for mini pizza muffins.
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce over each individual pizza.
- Cover with cheese and toppings of choice.
- Bake at 350° for 15- 20 minutes or until dough is golden brown.
For sides with pizza we sometimes do garlic knots, garlic bread, or mozzarella sticks (great for dipping in the extra pizza sauce), or chicken wings or a salad.
For a dessert, can do fruit pizza, which we tried for the first time this week. My daughter enjoyed decorating and eating the cookies.
Ingredients:
Sugar cookie mix or fridge sugar cookies (like Pillsbury) or home made
Whip cream
Fruit of choice (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, or anything you would prefer)
Directions:
- Make up the sugar cookies as directed. (Can be made up in advance)
- Spread whip cream (or if you prefer vanilla frosting) over top of the cookie
- Top with fruit of choice.
If you try this, i would love to know what you think. And if you have a recipe you would like to share, drop it in the comments or message/email me, and we just may try it and you may see it here on the blog.
