It's Sunday again, so its time for another tag! I came across this tag on Thrice Reads Blog and it definitely looked interesting and i thought i would give it a-go. If you haven't checked out their blog, go do so now!
I am such an emotional reader, and i love feeling all the feels, so i thought this would be the perfect book tag.
Anyways, onto the tag!
A book series that made you smile or laugh:
SM Shade's Violent Circle series. Both Scarlet Toys and Frat Hell had me laughing! Such great Rom-Coms that i definitely would recommend!
A book/series that made you sad or want to cry:
God there are so many. The last book was an Arc for Limelight by Alyson Santos. I seriously loved that book. Others include (but not limited to) Last Leaves Falling, The Fault in Our Stars, Bad Girlfriend, the Infernal Devices, Lord of Shadows... Plus many more!
A book/series that you love:
A Court of Mist and Fury is definitely a favorite of mine. I also loved the Infernal Devices, and LJ Shen's Sinners of Saints, & Midnight Blue books, & Kennedy Fox's books (plus again, many more!)
A book/series you didn’t particularly like:
Miss Pergrine's home for Peculiar Children, Me Before You, and Carnage. I don't know. I didn't hate them, but i didn't love them ad much as everyone said i was going to. I mean, i didn't like any of them enough to even want to continue with the next books.
A book/series that was made into a movie that you liked:
I liked the hunger games movies. Also the notebook, the fault in our stara, and if i stay.
A book/series that was made into a movie that you didn’t like:
Divergent. I mean, the first movie was good (not great or anything) up intil the end. Then the series just got worse from there.
A book/series you have mixed feelings about:
I have mixed feelings a lot about books- especially ones that deal with hard topics for myself personally. I am sometimes on edge while reading, because i don't want it to trigger me with some of the things i may have been through.
Also, Throne of Glass. I had started it once, and got about 32 pages in. I had just finished ACOTAR which I liked (i didn't love it, but i liked it enough to want to continue) and i had started TOG, but ended up wanting to read ACOMAF instead, because something about ACOTAR was bugging me, and i just had to know what happened next. Also, I was a tad bored with TOG. (Again, only 32 pages in...) I haven't picked it back up yet though.
A book/series you haven’t read but are totally excited about:
Wonder Woman & Batman. Also want to finish AL Jackson's Bleeding Stars series, Kennedy Fox and LJ Shen's new books, and I mean many more.
A book/series that made you angry:
One of the Vampire Diaries books. I am not sure exactly which one it was without pulling it off my shelf. But, ugh it just frustrated me so dang much... It just ended... And then i had to wait for the next book.
If you don't know, i don't do well with cliffhangers. I will stay up until 4am to finish a book because i just HAVE to know what happens next... I just have to. So if it ends on a cliffhanger, I can be frustrated or pissed off, 😂😂 its a love-hate relationship...
A book/series you can feel like you can relate to:
Honestly there are just so many. I live being able to just relate to a character... One of the books was a Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. I had been in a similar relationship like that of Feyre and Tamlin's honestly, so i related to it so dang much.
But of course there are so many others.
Thank you for checking out this fun tag. If you want to participate, then consider yourself tagged. Don't forget to mention me so i can check out your answers!
