Review: In Chaos We Reign

Title: In Chaos We Reign

Series: Midnight Mayhem

Author: Amo Jones

Release Date: August 12, 2022

I was the trick that they could never play.
She was the greatest game of all…

There is elegance that comes from being carved from the ashes of all the darkness that surrounds you in the world. You start as dust, and you end as dust. At least that’s what I always thought. Crowned Princess Mayhem all my life became old fast, and I found myself forging my iron crown with the blood of our enemies.

To The Brothers of Kiznitch, I was nothing but a little brat that always got my way. I was the sister none of them asked for, but they’d find themselves needing. He was no different. Loving Keaton Cicero was never going to be easy. There was evil within him that would never be accepted.

They thought their over-protectiveness had kept me safe all these years, but they were wrong. Everything they thought they knew… was about to burn around them. I wasn’t someone who needed protecting…

They were.

So while technically, In Chaos We Reign is a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the series in order to fully understand what is going on.

Cartier was crowned princess of Midnight Mayhem, which got old fast. To the Brothers she was a brat who always got her way, and a sister none of them asked for, but they all needed. The Brothers were overprotective, keeping her safe all these years, or so they thought.

Keaton had evil inside him, that would never be accepted. He was known as the Catcher, & Dracula, and one of the worst out of all the Brothers of Kiznitch. But what Keaton and the rest of the Brothers didn't know, was that they were the ones who needing protecting.

So, in true Amo fashion, there is a lot of mystery & secrets and you don't find out everything that is going on until towards the end. This story is knotted with so many secrets & lies, & mysteries to keep you reading until you get the answers you seek.

Keaton is evil, dark, twisted. Cartier is the bratty younger sister (to Kyrin) who loves him. But when Cartier takes on a new role at Midnight, will the secrets between them all tear them apart? & Will Cartier be able to protect everyone she loves from a threat that none of them can see coming?

Just like in Silence She Screams, this novel has a cross over with the Elite King's Club series- but it isn't necessary to read before hand. There were enough twist & turns to make your head spin. & I loved the chemistry between Keaton & Cartier & the dynamic of the characters & the story. If you are looking for a dark circus themed romance filled with secrets & suspense then I definitely recommend this series! 4⭐ out of 5⭐.

4🌶️ out of 5🌶️.

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
