I spotted this over on Bookhookednook's blog and it looked like fun! I am huge chcolate lover and I knew I had to do this tag!

Dark Chocolate — A book that covers a dark topic (abuse, domestic violence, rape, loneliness, bullying, death, etc)

There are so many. One of my favorites was Crowned With Guilt by S.K. Rose. Seriously worth the read. Such an amazing book!

White Chocolate — Your favourite light-hearted/humorous read

I love rom-coms and lighter books, so I have a long list of books that could go here. Everything from Emma Hart's Four Day Fling, to S.M. Shade's Violent Circle series and C.M. Owens' the Wild Ones series. But a couple of my favorites are Teagan Hunter's Let's Get Textual and I Wanna Text You Up. They were both lighthearted and fun.

Milk Chocolate — A book that has a lot of hype that you’re dying to read.

So I think some of the huge hype surrounding books puts me off from reading them. It took me twenty years to read the Harry Potter series because of the hype. I think it would have been something I had enjoyed so much more if I had read it when I was younger.
That being said, I think the Cruel Prince by Holly Black is something I may enjoy. Or the DC Icons books (I own all three, just haven't read them yet.) Or any other books I own but haven't started yet. Oops, haha.

Chocolate with a caramel centre — Name a book that made you feel all gooey in the middle while you were reading it

Again there are so many. I love books that make me swoon over the characters and go "awww". Maybe a friend's to lovers romance. Where they have known each other for years. Those are usually really sweet, haha.
Four Letter Word by J Daniels, Taming Him by Kennedy Fox , and We Own Tonight by Corrine Michaels I think falls under this sweet catagory.

Wafer-free Kit-Kat — Name a book that surprised you lately

The Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy. Don't get me wrong I loved her other books (Fumbled Hearts & Defenseless Hearts) but the Wrong Blaze was amazing and filled with angst and drama and I loved every second of it!

Snickers — A book that you are going nuts about

I already listed some of my top fav reads of the year. Crowned With Guilt by S.K. Rose and The Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy. Such awesome reads. Another would be Dirty Headlines by L.J. Shen. It comes out Sept. 7 but L.J. is definitely one of my auto-buy authors.

Hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows — What book would you turn to for a comfort read?

Comfort read? Maybe the Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. I absolutely loved those books & even though I am team Will by just a hair, I loved Will and Jem's parabatai releastionship and adored everything about them both.

Box of chocolates — What series have you read that you feel has a wide variety and a little something for everyone

Maybe the Six of Crows duet by Leigh Bardugo. I loved the story and characters and just everything about it. It was an amazing read! Or the Royals series by Erin Watt or the ACOTAR series by Sarah J Maas.
