Wild Ones Tip #349
If you don’t understand what’s going on, it’s because you haven’t been in Tomahawk long enough.

My sister and I decided to go to Tomahawk to learn more about our estranged grandmother and spend some time together doing something other than networking.

What we expected was some quiet town, a peaceful escape, and a little downtime.

What we got?
Two sexy mountain men...who actually wear a lot of flannel, bring fresh kills on first dates, and gripe about screaming a lot.
Hypothermia, a broke arm, a possible concussion, and more reckless fun than we've ever had.
And a stoner town that prides itself on its weed, crazy challenges, beards, and bizarre character.

Our trip started a little like a horror film...including bad cell signal, spotty internet and womb snatchers. Long story.

Fortunately, it changed pretty quickly.

I actually ended up not spending much time with my sister, but I did spend a lot of time with Kai Wilder. He's the single most unique, easy-going, and...oblivious man I've ever met.

Welcome to Tomahawk. Home of the Wild Ones.

Review:

This is book 3 in the wild ones series. They are interconnecting standalones.

As with the other two Wild Ones series I loved this book! It is a romantic comedy.
Wilder follows Kai Wilder- one of the wild ones families from Tomahawk and Piper an out of Towner who came to check out her late grandma's cabin with her sister.
Just on her first day in Tomahawk she almost dies four times. The most recent a plunge into icy waters trying to save a baby deer. It appears Tomahawk doesn't agree with Piper. No cell service, near death expierence and possibly breeding expierence with what can be presumed as the frazy locals. But it's only for a week or two to get everything sorted out right?
When Piper's sister Reece shows up and snags a date for herself and Piper what could possibly go wrong? And when Reece prolongs their stay, will Piper survive Tomahawk?
This book was fun, and hilarious. I loved seeing a Tomahawk oursider's interactions with Tomahawk and the people within. I loved the interactions between Piper and Kai, and Reece and Hale. In a town where anything can and does happen it's no wonder when things go wrong, crazy, or even right.
If you love a good RomCom then you definitely need to pick up the Wild Ones books! 4 ⭐ out of 5⭐

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

So this past weekend my aunt passed away.  But on a more positive note, this was my daughter's last week of school. She had half days all week and now she is home for summer break until after Labor Day in September.  And I finished up two books. We started rewatching Dexter, and watching season two of Perfect Match.  What I Read This Week:  Title: Leather & Lark Series: The Ruinous Love trilogy Author: Brynne Weaver   Release Date: June 04 So I love these characters, but this story had a lot of fluff, and at the end felt a little rushed. 4⭐ out of 5⭐.  See Full Review Here .  Title: Lights Out  Author: Navessa Allen   Rereleases August 06, 2024  I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Weekly Newsletter - June 13

As my daughter's school year is winding down, they are trying to cram more things in it - from chorus concerts, to a play, to fun days, and field trips and parties... So it's been a bit hectic.  Also, last Thursday went to run errands before my daughter's chorus concert, & to grab Leather & Lark from Walmart (live in a small town. Walmart is the only place to buy books locally). And they were completely sold out 😭 So I ordered it online (Amazon "2 day shipping" still takes a week 😒). Plus I got a book last week - only UPS left it in a puddle. 😭 We were all home. Could have knocked or even honked or SOMETHING - but no. So also waiting on the replacement for that was well.  Also, I tried to convince my husband we needed to go to B&N in NYC (which is like 7 hours south of us give or take 😂😂) to meet Brynne Weaver to no success.  Annnddd... I tried the challenge of getting my husband to buy my wishlist for me for likes on social media... He wouldn...
