𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘
My life went to hell years ago, and I've had a death wish ever since then with fast cars, women, and drugs. They don't call me Grave for nothing!

But I do it because I need to feel something... anything. What's life worth living for without the high?

And then I saw her!

She's too good for me, and I should stay away. But like an addict, I switch one drug for another, and I'll be taking her to hell with me.

𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗟
I'm anything but sweet, despite what people think, so when he tells me I'm too good for him and I'm better off without him, I don't listen.

My life was simple before Grave stepped through that door, but who wants simple?

He makes me feel alive. It took one touch, and I became addicted!

But therein lies the problem. Addiction is Grave's middle name, and when he tells me he's taking me to hell with him, I don't know whether to take that as a threat or a promise!

Oh My goodness!! I'm at a loss for words. I just finished Grave. And let's just say I was. Here. For. It.
Grave's life went to hell all those years ago. Filling the void with fast cars, women, drugs and alcohol. There is a reason why he is called Grave, and it's for the fact that he has a death wish. He needs those things to help him feel something... Anything. Besides, without that high, is life even worth living?
Then he saw her. April. She's too good for him and he should stay away. But like an addict, he's switching one drug for another and taking her down to hell with him.
Despite what people thing, April is anything but sweet. So when she sees Grave, she doesn't listen to those warning her to stay away. Her life was simple before, Grave... But who wants simple? One touch made her feel alive. When Grave says he's taking her to hell with him, she doesn't know if it's a threat or a promise.
I have been loving this series since the beginning, with Code of Silence and then with Titan. And I have loved every word of their stories, including Grave. Him and April's relationship was fire. It was fast, and crazy, and was just... Them.

Grave is one of the four Kings who run Kingdom, the palace in the middle of Las Vegas' strip that is so much more than just a casino and hotel. He loves his cars fast, his women who give him whatever he wants and always chasing that high, whether it's racing, fighting, alcohol or drugs. Anything to make him feel something, other then what he feels day in and day out since his life went to hell. He's tatted up, with piercings, and always had that unobtainable bad boy quality to him.
April has been on her own looking after her younger brother for years. They have barely been getting by. So when the tatted up bad boy walks into her flower shop she reaches out to him. She isn't the sweet girl next door, but she definitely isn't ready to be immersed into the deep end right off the bat. But she is exactly the girl to be able to handle Grave. She's strong, and her own person. And they work together. I absolutely loved loved loved this book, and I cannot wait to dive into more of the Kingdom series and see more of what Shantel has to offer!! 4.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
