Review: Loathe Thy Neighbor

Title: Loathe Thy Neighbor
Series: Roommate Romps
Author: Teagan Hunter
Release Date: September 17

Blurb:

Don’t fall for your enemy…especially when he’s your new roommate.

Dean Evans is the worst.
Not only does the devil in disguise steal my pie on a regular basis, he also lives in the apartment right. Next. Door.
I see him all the time. At the mailboxes. In the elevator.
Every single morning.
It’s exhausting because he’s exhausting.

Now, after setting his apartment on fire, he’s my roommate…and he’s the worst at that too.

I don’t know what possessed me to let him stay with me. Pity, perhaps?
I do know that I won’t be falling for his charm.
Or that panty-dropping smirk.
His quick wit.
That body he works so hard for.

Nope. Not falling for any of it…least of all him.

There might be a fine line between love and hate, but I know exactly where I stand.

You GUYSSSSS!!
Ever since Dean moved in next door to River, she hated him. He would steal her pie, play his music too loud... And she would see him every where. But when Dean's apartment catches fire, River must take pity on him because she agrees to let him be her roommate. If she thought he was bad before, now they are in close quarters together. River loathes him so falling for his charm isn't going to happen. Or his smirk, quick wit, and body... Their may be a fine line between love and hate but River knows exactly where she stands.
So it's no surprise I fell in love with this book! I mean, enemies to lovers, roommate romcom? Yes please! The banter was fun, and the tension between these characters was off the charts. It was fun, funny, and then some. I loved all the supernatural references! And loved these two characters. They were fun and quirky, sassy and smart mouthed and flirty. This book was amazing and just what I needed to destress as my daughter starts school. Teagan knows how to bring the banter between her characters to life and I always enjoy reading her stories! So if you love enemies to lovers, roommate romances and romcoms then this is the book for you! 4.5 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐.

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

So this past weekend my aunt passed away.  But on a more positive note, this was my daughter's last week of school. Weekly Newsletter - June 13

As my daughter's school year is winding down, they are trying to cram more things in it - from chorus concerts, to a play, to fun days, and field trips and parties... So it's been a bit hectic.  Also, last Thursday went to run errands before my daughter's chorus concert, & to grab Leather & Lark from Walmart (live in a small town. Walmart is the only place to buy books locally). And they were completely sold out 😭 So I ordered it online (Amazon "2 day shipping" still takes a week 😒). Plus I got a book last week - only UPS left it in a puddle. 😭 We were all home. Could have knocked or even honked or SOMETHING - but no. So also waiting on the replacement for that was well.  Also, I tried to convince my husband we needed to go to B&N in NYC (which is like 7 hours south of us give or take 😂😂) to meet Brynne Weaver to no success.  Annnddd... I tried the challenge of getting my husband to buy my wishlist for me for likes on social media... He wouldn...
