Review: Ruthless Idols

Title: Ruthless Idols

Series: Gifted Academy

Author: Michelle Hercules

Release Date: September 2019

I knew being the only Norm at Gifted Academy would be hard and dangerous, but I didn’t expect to be tossed out of a window. Also didn’t expect to be saved by one of the Magnificent Four.

Bryce brought me back from the brink of death, but he did more than heal my broken bones. He weakened my defenses and carved a place in my heart.

He’s not the only one vying for my attention. Rufio, Phoenix, and Morpheus have all changed their attitudes toward me, and recklessly, I want to know where it will lead.

But a complicated romance with four ruthless Idols should be the least of my worries. Powerful players are closing in, getting ready to either use or destroy me. I don’t know which one is worse.

Ruthless Idols picks up right where Wicked Gods left off, and these books must be read in order.
Daisy's feeling for the floor idols becomes complicated, but they are still Idols and she is still a norm. Besides the boundary between their races, how could she possibly trust them after everything?
Rufio may not want to kill her anymore but there is still stuff he isn't telling her.
Bryce may still be the most powerful Idol that Daisy knows but, the more Bryce finds out, the less likely he is inclined to trust Daisy.
Phoenix may have a secret of his own that he doesn't want to get out, but of all the people he confides in, he does so in Daisy- and she wonders if he has an ulterior motive for doing so.
Morpheus' visions and powers are getting more frequent. He may be the only one who hasn't pushed his relationship with Daisy to the next level, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to.
But Daisy and the four Idols have more pressing issues then just complicated feelings to sort through. Daisy isn't safe, and the more they find out, it seems the less anyone knows of what is happening.
I am still reeling after finishing this book and need to know more! I cannot wait to dive into book 3 and hopefully get more answers to all the questions burning through my mind, and get my fix on these characters, whom I'm falling for myself. These books are addicting and I need more! 4⭐ out of 5⭐.

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
