Review: Fumbled Hearts

Title: Fumbled Hearts
Tender Hearts series
Author: Meagan Brandy
Blurb:

He’s the persistent playboy who refuses to walk away. I'm the impassive new girl with nothing left to give.
Things are about to get complicated...
After months of refusing, I finally agreed to make the move to Alrick Falls. My family thought it was best - that a new scene would be good for me - and I was sick of having the same conversation.
So here I am, and the plan is simple. Smile through each day and avoid her at all costs.
It's perfect.
Until the cocky quarterback comes into play.
The last thing I want is his crooked grin and dark brown eyes focused on me.
Yet here he is, constantly in my space, pushing me, daring me to care. Telling me what I think and feel, as if he knows.
He doesn't know anything. And I plan to keep it that way.

Review:
So, as you guys probably know by now, i am usually not big on sports romances. And fumbled hearts falls into that with the MC focus on football.
Nate is the star quarterback at his high school- and lives up to the role, not only on the field, but during the after parties as well. Not only does he drimk himself senseless, but also has the rule to never bang the same chick twice.
Kalani moved into town, hitting up high school, for her senior year, even though she didn't need to. When she first met Nate she had him pegged.
But what neither one of them expected, was how each other got under their skins- how they ended up needed the other.
Will they score, or will they fumble?
So, this book here. Honestly, it made me feel. Normally i don't read sport's Romances, but every so often one comes by- that has me intrigued. And this was one of them. Kalani is a character I never expected, and I personally fell, not only for Nate but for Parker (and cannot wait to read his book next!!). Even though football was a huge part in this book, in both of their lives it wasn't the whole thing, and everything tied together. It was a great read, and more than I had expected. 4⭐ out of 5⭐. I love a book that can make me feel, and this boom definitely did.
