Review: Daughter of the Siren Queen

Title: Daughter of the Siren Queen

Series: Daughter of the Pirate King

Author: Tricia Levenseller

Release Date: February 2018

Alosa's mission is finally complete. Not only has she recovered all three pieces of the map to a legendary hidden treasure, but the pirates who originally took her captive are now prisoners on her ship. Still unfairly attractive and unexpectedly loyal, first mate Riden is a constant distraction, but now he's under her orders. And she takes great comfort in knowing that the villainous Vordan will soon be facing her father's justice.

When Vordan exposes a secret her father has kept for years, Alosa and her crew find themselves in a deadly race with the feared Pirate King. Despite the danger, Alosa knows they will recover the treasure first . . . after all, she is the daughter of the Siren Queen.

Goodreads | Purchase

Daughter of the Siren Queen picks up where Daughter of the Pirate King leaves off.

Alosa completes her mission and now not only does she have all three pieces of the map to the infamous hidden treasure, but those that kept her captive previously are now prisoners on her own ship.

Riden, the unexpectedly loyal first mate is under her orders. And Vordan will be facing her father's justice soon.

But Vordan reveals one of her father's secrets that he has kept for years - and then the race is on. Will Alosa and her crew survive the deadly match up between the nortourious Pirate King?

So I loved the fast pace & the thrilling adventure in the world & between the characters.

Alosa was still fierce & strong - still an amazing pirate and Captain of her crew, & coming to terms with her other side and abilities - which she will need to beat the deadly race against her father the Pirate King. This read was quick & easy & perfect for summer being pirates on the open sea. I cannot wait to dive into book 3 & find out what happens next between the characters and in this world. I definitely recommend this series if you love YA fantasy, pirates and sirens.

4.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.

1🌶️ out of 5🌶️. Build up & tension between characters.

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
