2026 Reading Challenges

So, the first reading challenge I will be doing this year is the Physical TBR challenge

Rules:

1. Has to be a book you already own.

2. Cannot be a reread.

Because let's face it my physical TBR is getting a little out of control 😅 So I figured I would try to tackle some of them this year.

I will also be combining it with the 26 for 26 reading challenge - which will be me trying to read 26 books in 2026. (Considering I spent most of 2025 in a reading slump - although doable, works perfectly & here's hoping I get out of my slump & read more than 26 books!) I may decide to do more challenges in the future & will add them here but for now, these are the two I am participating in 😊 What challenges are you doing this year?

Also here is the Roll Your Read cards if you want to use them:

Pick a colored card

use a dice or random 1-6 number generator

Find a book to read based off the prompt

from the number that was chosen.

Children's Challenges:

Roll Your Reads (Same rules as above):

Reading Bingo:
Blue is for younger kids & red is for older kids
Read & check off each of the prompts & try to get a bingo
(Either horizontal, vertical, diagonal lines - or by filling in the board)

Bookopoly:

Roll a dice or 1-6 random
number generator & pick
a book based on the prompt
that you land on.

Reading Challenge Bookmarks:
Print off the bookmarks &
Color or fill in the books as you
Read.

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

Weekly Newsletter - June 27

So this past weekend my aunt passed away.  But on a more positive note, this was my daughter's last week of school. She had half days all week and now she is home for summer break until after Labor Day in September.  And I finished up two books. We started rewatching Dexter, and watching season two of Perfect Match.  What I Read This Week:  Title: Leather & Lark Series: The Ruinous Love trilogy Author: Brynne Weaver   Release Date: June 04 So I love these characters, but this story had a lot of fluff, and at the end felt a little rushed. 4⭐ out of 5⭐.  See Full Review Here .  Title: Lights Out  Author: Navessa Allen   Rereleases August 06, 2024  I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was fun, and sexy and a great, quick read. 4.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.  See Full Review Here What I Watched This Week:  What I Listened To This Week:  Weekly Meme:    Recent Releases  | Upcoming Releases  |  Freebies Title:...

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties. You can find my  Original Review Here . This is a romantasy why choose romance full o...
