Jessica McBee was my best friend, my partner on the force and my only weakness.

But how can I let her be in the line of fire when I'm in love?

Review:

This was a quick read. The story follows Jess McBee & Sean Whistler. Sean works as a police officer in New York, & one of his best friends is Gavin- Captian of the NY hockey team. Jess joins the police force- following in her parents footsteps. Sean & Jess become partners, but each have secret feelibgs for the other. Will their feelings get in the way of their job?
I read this book in a matter of hours (& and was me putting it down to take care of life.) I give the book 4 ⭐ out of 5⭐. It moved fast, and was short and sweet.
I received an Arc for an honest review.
