This story was about Sydney, who showed up to her friends house unannounced, after her husband decided he wanted out of their relationship without warning, and Tori caught her boyfriend with his wife and child. Sydney was suppose to call Tori's ex Wes to lay in on him... But when a mistake in dialing landed her with a guy who was amused by her mistake led to him texting her the next day, what started off as a mistake quickly grew into something more between them.
Sydney was moving on and healing from her ex Marcus- who was flirting with other girls while they were still married. Brian was over come with guilt over a boy who became paralyzed in a car accident he believes he caused. So the mistaken phone call turned into a welcome distraction for both of them.
I really loved & enjoyed this story. It was cute, & funny, and sexy, and sweet. And i cannot wait to continue with this series. It left me wanting more & i can't wait to read it. I give this book, this story, and these characters 4 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐.
