⋯ QUESTIONS ⋯
1. What book gave you the creeps?
Pet Semetary by Stephen King i just remember reading it, and my cat was acting super weird- like doing the same things the cat from the book we're doing. It was creepy! 😂
2. What book gives you the best Halloween vibes?
I Love the Goosebumps books by R.L. Stien I need to restart the collection. I used to have almost all of them before my mom made me get rid of them. (Had to sell old books before I could buy new books.)
Another one is Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel I loved it.
3. What’s your favorite vampire book?
I love vampires. That being said,I haven't read many vampire books 😂 I Loved Simon from the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare does that count? Also the Vampire Diaries series by LJ Smith - ok so I basically just loved Damon, but can you blame me? I mean, HELLO it was Damon Salvatore!!
4. What book scared you so much you had to sleep with the light on?
Uhh in high school I went through and read a ton of Stephen King books among others. Yes I am easily scared & yes I had to sleep with a light on. But I can't remember any off the top of my head. I haven't read any horror books in a long time though.
Oh maybe I Know What You Did Last Summer by Lois Duncan
5. What’s your favorite book about witches/goblins/ghosts/demons? (one of each)
Uhh I don't know why I am drawing such a blank. Ok for Ghosts I am going to say Remember Me by Christopher Pike. The only demons I can think of, again is the Shadowhunter series by Cassandra Clare. And I guess Harry Potter series by JK Rowling for Witches. I don't know if I read any books about Goblins. But I would be interested in more books about Demons I think.
6. What book do you wish was scarier than it was?
Nope nope nope. Hahaha. I don't need a book to scare me. I mean, I sometimes love a book to send my heart into a faster pace BUT I don't need a book to keep me awake for a week vs just a night. I do need my sleep now that I'm a mom.
7. What’s your favorite book that takes place in October?
Does the Raven Boys take place in October? I don't remember 😂😂 Seriously why can't I remember a book that takes place in October? 🤔😂😂 Ah well.

What are some of your favorite spooky read's? Are there any new ones you're looking forward to reading this fall?

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

Weekly Newsletter - June 27

So this past weekend my aunt passed away.  But on a more positive note, this was my daughter's last week of school. She had half days all week and now she is home for summer break until after Labor Day in September.  And I finished up two books. We started rewatching Dexter, and watching season two of Perfect Match.  What I Read This Week:  Title: Leather & Lark Series: The Ruinous Love trilogy Author: Brynne Weaver   Release Date: June 04 So I love these characters, but this story had a lot of fluff, and at the end felt a little rushed. 4⭐ out of 5⭐.  See Full Review Here .  Title: Lights Out  Author: Navessa Allen   Rereleases August 06, 2024  I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was fun, and sexy and a great, quick read. 4.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.  See Full Review Here What I Watched This Week:  What I Listened To This Week:  Weekly Meme:    Recent Releases  | Upcoming Releases  |  Freebies Title:...

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
