Review: Oops

Title: Oops

Author: DL Gallie

Release Date: January 11

Cover Designer: Tash Drake, Outlined with Love Designs

I’ve had a crush on Lawson O’Connor since forever but it can never be, he’s my older brother’s best friend.

I always thought the feelings were one-sided but recently, I’m beginning to suspect otherwise.

A subtle touch here.

An inappropriate comment there.

A smoldering look.

A sexy wink.

And then it happens, we hook up.

It’s everything I ever imagined and more but we can never be, can we?

Mia has been crushing on her brothers best friend for years. During wedding season, when all their friends were getting married, Lawson started flirting back. What started as an innocent touch here and wink there, landed them in bed together. But it could never go beyond one hook up... Right?

Okay, what can I say about Oops?

It is a brothers best friend romance. Short, sweet and cute.

Mia has always had a thing for her older brothers best friend. But because of the bro-code, where sisters were definitely off limits, nothing could ever happen.

But in a turn of events in the midst of attending their friends' wedding, Lawson started flirting back. One thing led to another, and oops... Mia and Lawson slept together.

The book was short, I read it within a couple hours. Sweet, and cute- I love the siblings best friend trope. This book was light and fun. A good quick read that I enjoyed. 3.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Do we share anything in common?  What I Read This Week:  Title: Onyx Storm  Series: The Empyrean  Author: Rebecca Yarros Review | Goodreads | Purchase Quote: “I am yours and you ...

Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
