Review: Losers part 1

Title: Losers part 1

Series: Losers

Author: Harley Laroux

Release Date: October 2025

A former prom queen bully returns to her hometown only to become entangled in a steamy game of revenge and redemption with the four boys–now dangerously attractive men–she used to torment in the first of Harley Laroux’s infamously dark, sexy, queer, why-choose duology – perfect for readers of Sadie Kincaid, LJ Shen, and Eva Ashwood.

I was supposed to have it all.

I’d been Prom Queen, Cheer Captain - high school’s most savage Queen Bee. I could have everything I wanted.

Except them. The freaks, the weirdos, the school’s ultimate losers: Manson, Jason, Lucas, and Vincent. Our hatred for each other couldn’t keep us apart, not even when my own mistake got Manson expelled and made me the ultimate villain to the rest of them.

One night was supposed to be enough.

I couldn’t resist forever. For one night I gave myself over to the men I wasn’t supposed to want and satisfied the darkest parts of my soul. But some things are meant to stay in the dark. One night, and it was over.

Nothing more than a game.

Now, with college behind me, our worlds collide yet again. Four men, all willing to share me as their plaything until my debt to them is paid. Another game to satiate my dark cravings, the twisted rules of which bring us all even closer than before. But games aren’t meant to last.

When the debt is paid and the game is done, what if I don’t want to walk away?

Goodreads | Amazon

So Jess is back in town after being away to college. She tries to insert herself back into her old life, with her old friends - trying to keep up appearances especially since her life is all makes it for her. Everything she should want - a stable relationship, a husband and maybe even a kid or two. But get eyes were opened to her dark desires Halloween night a few years prior with Manson and his friends Lucas, Vincent, and Jason. Twisted fantasies she still wishes for. So when they appear back in her life, she can't quiet stay away, even if it will ruin her perfect image.

So this book definitely gave me more than the novella before, which was a deliciously dark tease - I got to learn more about each of the characters, and dive further into their world. I don't know what I expected from this book prior but I went in completely blind and it wasn't like anything I thought it would be. It was definitely hot and sexy - and the boyfriends had boyfriends - if you know what I mean. I haven't read a lot of MM but damn, I absolutely loved this and may need to add more MM to my TBR after this one. I absolutely loved the dynamic between the characters and getting to know them & I can't wait to see more of what the story brings & dive into part 2!

Weekly Newsletter: February 2

Hope everyone has a good couple weeks. I know it says weekly Newsletter & I know I have been taking two weeks each time to put out one 😂😂 I *want* it to be every week, but January is just super crazy over here. - but we'll see once things settle down some if it will stay every other week or if I switch to every week or not 😂😂.  This week, I got my preorder of Onyx Storm in (bday present), and we did my daughter's 10th bday party- she did bowling & invited a ton of friends! She also had a field trip to go skiing earlier in the week too which she liked.  Also here are the vibes I bring to the function but truthfully I probably won't go to the function - I am an introvert & don't people very well 😂😂 but it was a fun challenge to do on IG & TT either way. Reread: Broken Bonds

Title: Broken Bonds  Series: Bonds That Tie  Author: J Bree Release Date: June 2021 After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds. I was sure everything would be okay if I had them. It wasn’t. The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone. After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from. I thought I was doing the right thing. Now, I’m not so sure. North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure. I won’t ever forgive myself. *Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Goodreads | Amazon   So I am rereading the Bonds that Tie series to read the newest release Broken Ties.
