Review: Power Exchange

Title: Power Exchange

Series: Nash Crew series

Author: Meagan Brandy

Release Date: November 5

After my mother’s death, my so-called father decides I’m too much of a liability to be left alone.

So he drags me across the country, drops me into his new family's mansion, and leaves me with three stepbrothers who never wanted me here in the first place.
And they don't exactly hide it.

Brooks is arrogant.
Dallas is insufferable.
And Rook...

Rook is dangerous, in more ways than one.

He hates that I was forced into his world and takes every opportunity to remind me of that fact.
Every stare feels like a challenge and every challenge feels like a dare.

I should hate him as much as he hates me.
So why does every encounter leave me wanting more?

Just when I start to wonder if he feels this too, Rook makes it perfectly clear that he will never cross that line.
But secrets have a way of changing the rules when both sides have something to hide.

The Nash boys think I'm the problem they never should have let into their home.

They were right…

Oh my gawdssssss!!!
You guyyssss, when I tell you that when I tell you that you aren't ready for this book!!
Sinclair has been sent to live with her father after get mother's death - and her three stepbrothers, who are devil incarnate. But she can handle just a few short months until she graduates and then she can disappear. It doesn't matter how arrogant, insufferable or dangerous the Nash brothers are - because Sinclair can take care of herself. But both the Nash brothers and Sinclair have secrets they would rather stayed buried - but secrets always find a way to come out - and those secrets may just cost them... Everything.
I am loving this book and these characters.
Sinclair is badass. Despite everyone thinking she is a goody two shoes, spoiled princess she takes no shit from anyone and can stand on her own - even against her new stepbrothers - the Nash Brothers.
The Nash brothers consist of twins Brooks & Rook, & the younger brother Dallas - who run the town. They are arrogant but also dangerous - more than just the spoiled trio, a darkness within them all. And they want nothing to do with Sinclair, until she goes them she isn't who they think she is. And now she has their attention.
I am loving the dynamic between all the characters and the push and pull between them too. The tension and angst and everything in between.
And I'm loving the story and world that is being built and I am dying for the next book & to find out what happens next because *enter Jennifer Lawrence meme* WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN, MEAGAN?! I was in a reading slump all month after finishing Threshing Day, diving into Power Exchange pulled me out and now I feel like I will immediately thrust right back into it, spiraling into the unknown abyss. I need answers Meagan...
But overall, I loved this book. And I need more. I need it like I need my next breath of air - which is saying something since I have asthma and struggle with that on a good day 😂😂
Honestly, I love Meagan's books and love ST Abby/CM Owens as well, and I am so glad & grateful that this series was pulled from ST Abby's vault & entrusted to Meagan to write. I love a good suspensful, angsty story and live for the drama, plus step brother romances are one of my fav tropes so this book has been checking all of the boxes.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Meagan Brandy writes New Adult romance novels with a twist. She is a candy crazed, jukebox junkie who tends to speak in lyrics. Born and raised in California, she is a married mother of three crazy boys who keep her bouncing from one sports field to another, depending on the season, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Starbucks is her best friend and words are her sanity.
