Review: Can't Text This

Title: Can't Text This Author: Teagan Hunter Release Date: Oct 11 Blurb: "Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?” That’s how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger. Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door. I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text. Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was—unfinished business. I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again…but I did. Everything was going great—until we discovered I was his son’s teacher. This book does feature characters from Let's Get Textual & I Wanna Text You Up but can be read as a standalone, as the book does not follow the same timeline. Review: OMG. I love Teagan's texting books, and this one is no different. Monty is the buttoned up girl next door type. Shirts no...

Author Spotlight: Halie Fewkes

Author Spotlight Halie Fewkes Halie Fewkes comes from Kalama, Washington and has been writing Secrets of The Tally since she was twelve.  She loves traveling new places and trying new things, and recently quit her job to travel the whole country and work on Book III while she's on the road! Q&A with Halie Fewkes : Q: What has been one of your favorite books to write to date? A:  Ooooh, I love all three of my babies, but I really think Catching Epics is always going to hold a special place in my heart. Mainly because it’s the book where we meet Ebby and Vack and watch them grow from little goobs, but also because I LOVE Prince Avalask, and he’s just such a dad haha. The three of them will always make me so happy. Q: How do you come up with the names for your characters? A: Sometimes I’ll see a name I really like, and wonder to myself what it would sound like if I changed a couple letters around. And other times, the names come fr...

Cover Reveal: Tequila Tequila

Tequila + you best friend + your bedroom =  um, whoopsie? Tequila Tequila, an all-new hilarious standalone romantic comedy from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Emma Hart is coming November 13th and we have the brand new cover. Synopsis Don’t sleep with your best friend. Take it from me. I did it. And it was awful. I-wish-the-tequila-made-me-forget kind of bad. The problem is, Luke has forgotten. He swears that he can’t remember a thing about that night beyond the trays of tequila shots being set on the tables. Except I can’t forget. I can’t forget how good his hands felt until I fell over and hit my hip on the dresser, and I sure as hell can’t forget the entire two minutes of tap-tap-squirt. Awkward. Embarrassing. And the new subject of a couple of dirty lucid dreams. But I have no intention of telling him what we did. Nothing good comes from telling your best friend he’s the worst guy you’ve ever slept with. Which makes the tequil...

Review: Neverland

Title: Neverland Author: Melissa Jane Blurb: On a fateful, stormy night, a ghost from the past revealed himself under the glow of a street lamp.  A ghost whose smile was as cold and dangerous as his heart. He remembered her well. She was the one everyone talked about. The poor girl down the street born into a family of monsters. The one he’d obsessed over, taunted and harassed. The very same girl who’d one day suddenly disappeared. Accepting his hand, he lifted her off the dirty, vile street and whispered a promise, “No good deed comes without payment,” and from that day on, she was destined to pay the ultimate price. Seeing her for the first time since she’d vanished all those years ago, had only made him realize his obsession never truly ended. And now, with a promise to keep, he was going to make her disappear again… this time forever. Review: Wow. This book. First, I am sorry the review is a couple hours late. But I am writing it up now, hoping t...

Book Tag: September Wrap Up

Every month i was planning on doing a monthly wrap up, and recap the books i read for the month, along with my top reads. My top reads for August were the Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy and Dirty Headlines by L.J. Shen Seriously, I loved them all. (You can find my full recap  Here ). In September I read a total of 06 books. I started my Septmeber reads with No Tomorrow by Carian Cole. E ven though this wasn't a book I fell madly in love with - it is a book that will stay with me .I connected with some of these characters, and felt some of their pain, their sadness, their joy, their love. Such a moving read, and I am honored to have been able to read such a book. 4⭐ out of 5⭐   Review Next I read Keeping Him (a Bishop Brothers Novel) by Kennedy Fox.  Their story is filled with angst, and starts slow building over fifteen years. Then their heat just explodes onto the page. And with any Kennedy Fox story there's a touch of crazy. This book is well worth the wait! It was sw...
