Book Tag: September Wrap Up

Every month i was planning on doing a monthly wrap up, and recap the books i read for the month, along with my top reads. My top reads for August were the Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy and Dirty Headlines by L.J. Shen
Seriously, I loved them all. (You can find my full recap Here).
In September I read a total of 06 books.

I started my Septmeber reads with No Tomorrow by Carian Cole. Even though this wasn't a book I fell madly in love with - it is a book that will stay with me .I connected with some of these characters, and felt some of their pain, their sadness, their joy, their love. Such a moving read, and I am honored to have been able to read such a book. 4⭐ out of 5⭐ Review

Next I read Keeping Him (a Bishop Brothers Novel) by Kennedy Fox. Their story is filled with angst, and starts slow building over fifteen years. Then their heat just explodes onto the page. And with any Kennedy Fox story there's a touch of crazy. This book is well worth the wait! It was sweet, angsty, hot, sexy, crazy, and then some! You also find out more about the rest of the Bishop Crew! It was the perfect ending to an amazing story, series, and family. 5 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐. Review

Then I moved on to Whiskey Dick by Ryan Ringbloom. I will be honest and say the title and blurb grabbed my attention and drew me in.
This book was a cute, funny, sweet, quick read, and exactly what I needed. I loved all the awkwardness and angst and all the cute moments. I enjoyed the banter and teasing. I enjoyed all the moments that Jax and Paisley had together. They were both funny, and awkward right from the start. And I cannot wait to read the next book, Whiskey Chick. 4⭐ out of 5⭐. Review

After Whiskey Dick I jumped into Whiskey Chick by Ryan Ringbloom. This book was cute, funny, and even had a touch of cringe. Their first encounter may not have been what either was hoping for, but it was definitely memorable. And although I'm not one for the insta-love type relationships this was still a fun, cute read. 4⭐ out of 5⭐.Review

Next I read Miss (a Bittersweetheat novel) by Harloe Rae. I loved Delilah's character. She was strong, sassy, honest, and independent. She stands up for what she believes in, and does what is right by her.
And I loved Zeke, he was funny, romantic, dirty, and strong- both physically and mentally. He has been through so much in his past, and yet still fights each day. When it comes to Delilah, he just wants to do right by her, and protect her even if it's from himself.
Delilah and Zeke's story was such a great read. 4.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐. Review

And lastly I read Duplicity by S.M. Shade. Let me just say, buy this book when it comes out. If you love SM Shade's books, if you never read her before, if you love rockstar romances or not seriously. Get this book. It's different then other rockstar romances that I have read before. And I love Kinley's character. And her friends too! I am eagerly awaiting book two of the Jilted series to see what happens next. 5⭐ out of 5⭐ Review
