So it's Sunday again, ehich means time for a Book Tag. Also, it will help me get my mind off all the cocky drama (seriously, i am over it. Hopefully come tomorrow once all the offices are opened up again she is shut right down!)
So as always, I wasn't tagged, but found this one on a few blogs such as The Bionic Bookworm & Once Upon a Spine- be sure to check out their blogs if you haven't already!
So here's the 20 Questions book tag!
1 - How many books is too many books in a series?
Honestly, i don't know? I have read series that seem like they will never end, but then i have read series where at the end you feel like it wasn't enough and you want more. I guess it just depends on how it is written.
2 - How do you feel about cliff hangers?
I have a Love hate relationship with them. They usually leave me feeling frustrated- to the point where I want to throw my book, scream into my pillow, and curse everything. But at the same time i always go back for more.
3 - Hardback or Paperback?
I honestly love both. Even e-books. Anything i can basically get my hands on to read is the best. (My fiance prefers if we buy hardback for our bookshelves, but i like that paperbacks are usually cheaper so you can buy more!
4 - Favourite book?
I can never answer this question. Seriously, every time it is asked it is a different answer, or a series, or a whole author. It will never happen- there are just so many books i absolutely love ok.
5 - Least favourite book?
I just... I don't know. I didn't care for Welcome to Nightvale. Or a few others. There are some i DNF. As well.
6 - Love triangles, yes or no?
Honestly, yes. I prefer a love triangle over some of the other tropes like say Insta-love. I don't know. I guess it really just depends on how they are written because I have loved both, and their also have been instances where i didn't care for either.
7 - The most recent book you just couldn't finish?
Uh, i don't know. Its been awhile since I DNF a book.
8 - A book you're currently reading?
I just finished an Arc of Bane by LJ Shen, ehich releases THIS WEEK! I loved it. My next read is going to be a Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas.
9 - The last book you recommended to someone?
I think it was Lets Get Textual and I Wanna Text You Up both by Teagan Hunter.
10 - The oldest book you've read (publication date)?
I haven't read many classics. But I have read and Loved the Velveteen Rabbit by Margory Williams. (1922). It was one of my favorite children's books.
11 - Newest book you've read (publication date)
Bane by LJ Shen, and 13 by Rhonda James. I have read Arcs of both & neither are out yet.
12 - Favourite author?
I love Sarah J Maas, Cassandra Clare, Leigh Bardugo, Kennedy Fox, LJ Shen, I mean, this list could go on & on 😂
13 - Buying books or borrowing books?
Buying. I haven't borrowed books in years. I haven't been to a library in years, nor is there anyone I borrow from. Sometimes if I am uncertain I will buy the ebook (if its cheaper anyways) of a book to figure out if i like it before I buy it.
14 - A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?
There are a few. Like Me Before You, Carnage, Miss Pergrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I mean, they were ok. I wouldn't go so far to say i disliked them, but i didn't love them.
15 - Bookmarks or dog ears?
Bookmarks. I just couldn't with dog ears. My whole book would basically have them, and it just isn't worth it.
16 - A book you can always reread?
The Infernal Devices. Or ACOMAF. Or any of the numerous books I love- seriously i love rereading d favorites.
17 - Can you read while hearing music?
Yes. I don't though. I have a daughter, so I always have background noise (the t.v., her playing, her kindle etc)- but if i am reading i need one other sense to keep an eye on her, so listening is great for that, haha.
18 - One POV or multiple POV's (POV = points of view)
I love both. Sometimes if I just one person, I feel like I need more. I need to know what the other person(s) were thinking, or feeling. Or why they did what they did.
19 - Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
Not really in one sitting per se. But I can read a book in one-two days depending on length & how much i am invested etc into the story. I will stay up until 3 am to finish the book (but hate it come the next morning, haha)
20 - A book you've read because of the cover?
Spider by Ilsa Madden-Mills. Seriously, the only reason why i bought the ebook was the cover, but I fell in love with the story too. I love picking up books where i am drawn to the cover- whether its beautiful, interesting, or different.

This was so fun to do! I loved the questions & answering them. Thank you for reading. And, as always instead of tagging anyone- if you want to do this tag, go for it! Just tag/mention me (or comment your link below!) So i csn find it and read your answers too!
Until next time, happy reading!
Hey, just wanted to say that I love this tag. I loved it enough to do my first tag ever! Being my introverted self that's saying something! Great answers!
ReplyDeleteHello! I am so glad to hear it! I am usually an introvert- I would rather have my nose in a book than meeting or talking to new (or most) people. Hope you have fun with the tag!
