Title: No Tomorrow
Author: Carian Cole
Release Date: September 13
Blurb:

The people we love are thieves.
They steal our hearts. They steal our breath.
They steal our sanity.
And we let them.
Over and over and over again.

*********************************************

They say you never forget your first time.
Mine was with a homeless musician who effed my brains out under a bridge.

He was my first love. And fourteen years later, I still can’t get him out of my head.

He broke all my rules.
He also broke my heart.

I watched him climb to stardom, cheering him on from afar.
But I was never a fan; just a girl in love.

Like a tornado, he spiraled, leaving a path of destruction in his wake.

But love conquers all, right? It has to. Because here I stand, ravaged and ruined, needing it to be true.

You can’t go back, but I want to. Back to the bridge. Back to when he sang only for me. Before he was famous. Before he shattered my heart.

I thought I knew everything about him.
But I could not have been more wrong.

He promised me every tomorrow. And here I am, waiting.
And hoping.
Again.

Review:

I just finished the book and have no idea what to think.
Blue was a homeless street musician when Piper first met him. It all started when she first heard his music at the park on her lunch break. She enjoyed listening. Then it was glances, and food, and soon both were falling in love with each other. It was unconventional and unheard of. And all they had were promises of tomorrow. But then one day Blue just walked away without a word and Piper was left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart.
She doesn't hear from him again for years. Until one day she hears his voice on the radio. No Tomorrow. Piper is more than just a fan. She's still crazy in love with Blue the front man of the band.
Will she get the answers she's looking for from Blue? Or will she be left waiting and hoping for the tomorrow's he promised, yet again?
This book was emotional, and more than I expected from beginning to end. Yes it was Rockstar romance but it was much more than that- taking place in the course of years.
At times it was A little slow moving, and dealt with some subjects that isn't normally talked about (mental illness). And even though this wasn't a book I fell madly in love with - it is a book that will stay with me .I connected with some of these characters, and felt some of their pain, their sadness, their joy, their love. Such a moving read, and I am honored to have been able to read such a book. 4⭐ out of 5⭐
