Review: Tangled Love

Title: Tangled Love
Series: Chaotic Rein
Author: Haley Jenner

Blurb:

Codi Rein is a means to an end. A bloody and vengeful penance for wrong doing. She was our way to inflict pain and suffering on those who took away what was most important to us.
She was supposed to be a no one. Insignificant.
She wasn’t supposed to make me smile.
She wasn’t supposed to make me laugh.
She sure wasn’t supposed to make me feel something other than hate.
She wasn’t supposed to make me love her.
She was a means to an end. Now the bloody and vengeful end looks to be mine. Because it now comes down to love or loyalty and it’s on me to decide what reigns absolute; heart or family.

Review:
"I've got no idea what I've Tangled myself into, but I know it's chaotic; twisted and weaved in a way that might be impossible to ever crawl out of, but right now, I don't want to."
I was drawn into this book from the cover and blurb.
Codi Rein was suppose to be Parker and Rocco's mean to revenge for their family. But the moment Parker laid eyes on her, he had to get to know her. He didn't expect her to make him laugh. He didn't expect to feel anything besides hate towards her. And now he has to decide between love, and his loylaty to his family. Which will Parker choose?
This story had a very Romeo and Juliet feel to it. Two families who were separated in hate. Two people from opposing families who fell in love, with the thought of death looming over them. Will their love be enough to save them or will their love be the death of everything they have ever known?
I understood Parker and his brother Rocco's need for Vengeance. Their need to inflict pain. And I enjoyed reading this book. It was full of emotions- love, hate, chaos, lust, turmiol. It was a good read, and perfect for anyone who likes to read forbidden romances between rivaling families. But I didn't love it. The writing was good, the story line was good, some of the characters were right up my alley- I love when a character is strong, an alpha, or a asshole. I love when a character is broken, or damaged. - And this had all of that. Still a good, emotional read. 3.5⭐ out of 5⭐
