I am so in love with Kate's books! And this was no different. It's a Hollywood romance book like no other. There is more to it then just the glitz and glamour and being swept off your feet with wealth and material items. Lucas and Mila were more than just Hollywood's 'it' couple. They were real. Mila had dreams and aspirations outside of finding love, outside of Lucas. And she was first, holding her own against him. Lucas didn't come from wealth. He fought and clawed his way from his past to where he was. There is a lot of back and forth from the past to present of their relationship- and you got to see the good, the bad, and even down right dirty of it all. What goes on behind closed doors. It was raw, and emotional, dealing with grief, and depression along side trying to find out what really happened to Lucas and Mila, and Lucas best friend. Where everything went wrong, and right - and if in the end, they choose to fight. For love, for each other, or if it all becomes too much for them, and where that leaves them. If you want to read about a Hollywood romance that's more than just the glamorous lifestyle & filled with emotion, then you need to pick up this book! 4.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.

A Texas native, Kate Stewart lives in North Carolina with her husband, Nick, and her naughty beagle, Sadie. She pens messy, sexy, angst-filled contemporary romance as well as romantic comedy and erotic suspense because it's what she loves as a reader. Kate is a lover of all things '80s and '90s, especially John Hughes films and rap. She dabbles a little in photography, can knit a simple stitch scarf for necessity, and on occasion, does very well at whiskey.
