Review: Curse of Night

Title: Curse of Night
Series: Thorne Hill series
Author: Emily Goodwin
Release Date: May 4th

When one door closes, another door opens. Or in my case, kill one monster and another comes knocking. It’s nothing new, since someone has had it out for me my whole life. I’ve learned to not only live with but expect the constant peril.

Demons attack? Must be Monday. Send hexes my way? Just another Tuesday night. Get kidnapped and held hostage by vampires? Well, that’s just a typical weekend for me.

But go after the man I love and I’ll stop at nothing to hunt you down, even if it means seeking help from an unlikely—and untrustworthy—source. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to save Lucas, risking crossing a line that can’t be uncrossed. They say there’s evil in my blood, and I’m going to show them just how dark I can go.

For Hell hath no fury like a witch out for revenge.

Gahhhhh!!! Where Do I Even Begin?!?!
First, the Thorne Hill series MUST be read in order, before diving into Curse of Night!! So if you haven't read these books yet, I suggest you do so, like yesterday. Because I am absolutely in love with these books.
After the way Still of Night ended I needed more. And boy, did Emily deliver!

Callie, is a strong and powerful witch, who has always had someone- or something after her, and this is no exception. Defeat one baddie, and a crazed lunatic is next to come running. But it's nothing that she can't handle, especially with Lucas her vampire husband by her side. Callie is used to people coming after her, it's just another Tuesday. But if they threaten her friends and family- then they will have hell to pay. She will stop at nothing to take you down, and will do whatever it takes to save them- even seeking help from an untrustworthy source. Even if it means crossing over to the dark side. Because Hell as no fury like a witch seeking revenge.

"He's a vampire. I'm a witch. We shouldn't even be together, yet we are... We've overcome the odds. Proven the centuries-old grudge needs to be forgotten."

Seriously, if you haven't read the Thorne Hill books yet, what are you waiting for? It has badass witches, sexy as sin vampires, hot sex, and tons of action. And let's not forget the twist, turns, and surprises. This story reels you in from the beginning. Powerful witches, Strong vampires- mortal enemies with each other. And yet Callie and Lucas defying all odds and logic and falling for one another? What could go wrong? More than you think.
